Personally the 45 degree bend in the legs is quite forgivable seeing as this suit was mainly planned for space operations, in fact like the Zeong it could probably have gone just fine without the legs entirely, but this is just my thought.
Hehe, makes you sound like that one Zeon guy that explains to Char that the Zeong is actually 100% complete and that the legs are just for show. I think the canonical reason for them having legs is for better AMBAC and it probably allows for more complex manoeuvres.
***** Ah, I've been curious about that set for a long time. Is the hammer good? And are the saber pegs compatible with anything or kinda specific to frame arms/MSG line kinda stuff?

The hammer is pretty much "what you see is what you get", a ball on a chain =P Never been a big fan of that because you can't really pose it(unless you give the ball its own action base lol)
The HG00 Tieren Taozi Sergei Custom has a beam bayonette. Well, it's a dark gray toothpick that goes in front of the beam rifle, but a typical transparent beam fits okay in it.
I just ordered the Mashmer custom of this thing. I hope it's as good as this one. It was only like $12 on HLJ, so I'm stoked. I really have to watch ZZ!
It should be since it's the same base model. 1 warning about ZZ: it starts off crappy but then gets (much much) better halfway through. Also beware of MoonMoon(this will make sense when you watch ZZ, trust me)
***** the fact the Gaza C's get owned by Judau in a First Gen worker mobile suit is kinda hilarious when you think about it, more so by the fact that the Gaza C is a basically the MS equivalent to putting a Machine gun on a forklift or a recoilless rifle on a front end loader.
Awesome review. Didn't even know it had that torso articulation. Btw, other mobile suits with bayonette looking things: Gp01(beam jutte), astray green frame(kind of?) and maybe the blitz??? Really..more suits should have bayonettes.
Since 90% of these older HGUC's came with the "almighty toothpick"(uncolored beam saber) couldn't you just paint the saber either its canon color or preferred color? Thats one of my main draws to these older Bandai HG's and MG's. If theres something i don't like about a particular kit,i can just paint it,or kit bash it. Cant necessarily do that with newer kits(to my knowledge, i could be wrong).
The GP01 sort of has a bayonette with the beam jitte, but that is more for blocking beam sabers until he gets his out. He doesn't use it offensively typically.
after announcement of new Zaku III from Twilight Axis novel, i'm excited what Bandai gonna do with this kit, since it's a very very old kit rerelease (nothing new, except new big backskirt)
Exia and the Ahead also have toothpicks. Also the Ahead Smultron, but that one has a transparent toothpick so it's a bit better. But Exia is the worst one, four freaking beam handles and no beams at all.
I changed the pollycap cap I cant remember what size I switched it to. I would have to get my zaku 3 out and check the bayonet makes a grate 1-144 rx-78-2 katana and thanks for the complement
to be fair, he ran up cloaked. Odds are, he didn't have a lot of power left to work with, and the lances don't go off of his battery like the beam saber would have.

I just ordered this kit, because I already own a Zaku I (black tri-stars) and my first gunpla Char's Zaku 2.
I come here expecting the “Bluky Zaku III” joke by Kakarot.
I will soon get my own HG Zaku III among one other HG and one MG.

The Zeta and the ReZels have beam bayonettes.
The legs on mine are ridiculously floppy, but I don't regret getting this kit. Makes me wanna get Mashymre's.
