I don't get it. Sheldon refuses to stay in the classroom and Mary wants George to babysit Sheldon when he has a high pressured responsible job. She has more flexibility ust working at the church or at home, so she could pick up Sheldon.
Once he explained he wanted to go on a date together, why follow it up with telling him if he did something stupid that you would find out? Treating your spouse with suspicion is not going to make them want to work on the relationship, or get close to you romantically.
Because it shows that he typically doesn't asks her on dates and therefore she thinks he is buttering her up to tell her something stupid he did, like when a child starts loving up on you for no reason so you know they typically want something or did something
@sandymullican6728 just because it's typical doesn't make it right. She could just trust her husband a little bit. It's a wild idea, but it just might work! I understand being suspicious if he was constantly trying to get stupid stuff by her like kids do, but he doesn't. Also, he isn't a kid for her to punish, he's her partner.
He is trying to work on their relationship. I like that he is trying.
"So, what do they do in the bathroom?"
"You know, normal stuff."

@meganfenton4189 Valid. I think they wanted it as a "laugh factor" more so than anything
