I think doing it that way help for more subtle looks for day to day (since the powder helps to stop the concealer from creasing), but this video is very helpful for looks where colors are the main point of the makeup! I honestly never thought about applying colors from darkest to lightest
Totally surprised me out the gate with that piece of advice. It seems so counterintuitive since my brain keeps trying to convince me that it should be impossible to put the light colors over darker ones without immediately muddying the brighter colors. @@beautyover6018 - the tip on cleaning the lid was confusing. Wouldn't that take away the primer or base/concealer?
@@clairepettie it did but she did a cut crease and put more concealer on. She didn't want to muddy the bright colors with any fall out that may have been in the other concealer

Oh sweetie not wrong just a few shades lighter of color or hour building up your color which is not ideal for girls in school. Have get up with chickens to do some of makeup that see girls wearing. Hard for us girls to know all secrets in short amount time we gotta learn them.

Soooo smart wow so I’m actually a makeup artist and I struggle with color looks! These are great tips even to use for Smokey eyes I try and use the dark colors first then blend with the transition colors but I mean it depends on the look obviously lol
