Great tutorial-- this is what I have been looking for. I would have a question though-- what if I have a multi WAN setup? My primary WAN provider is providing me with a static public IP, but the secondary one does not. When my WAN1 interfaces is down or disconnected-- WAN2 is supposed to take over. And it is working fine. So which interface am I supposed to choose to check my public IP? If I choose WAN1 it is not going to get the IP because the network is down there. If I choose WAN2 and WAN1 is up and running-- it will get the wrong IP, as it should be an IP from the ISP WAN1 is connected to.
Worked great--clear and concise. Thanks!

In that case using a script would be better. sysadmin102.com/2023/08/opnsense-dynamic-dns-with-cloudflare-using-a-custom-cron-job/
