The oil on the bbs is likely just mineral oil, which helps keep them from rusting. Mineral oil is actually really good for your skin too, and will only feel "greasy" for a moment until your skin absorbs it. I just ordered 15,000 rounds or 5/16 from PGN, and they shipped in two boxes, each with 5 bags of 1500 rounds each. I like to keep them in their bags all oiled up until I need more, and then I just pour some 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol into the bag and slosh them around for a couple minutes. After that I drain the alcohol and pour the balls onto a towel to air dry.
I use them both and never have been able to discern a difference. I have also had them arrive from Amazon in very beat up packaging. I don't believe the slingshot creates enough velocity that small imperfections would change flight perceptibly. I know others disagree.
Great video. I think a lot of any issues that pop up have to do with storage at the wear houses themselves. For example my last few orders have been with pgn but I'll get some murky ammo or clean ammo the next order. Another issue would be chrome vs carbon; they're respective compositions and impurities.
Great review I will check some out
Great video. I've wanted to do this exact experiment for a while.
Thanks man. I actually favored the ZQ ammo while at ECST. Have more on the way in the mail.

The rubbing alcohol is a great idea!

I should have mentioned these are both carbon steel. But yea the storage at the warehouse I’m sure is an issue as well.
👍
Just got 3000 from pgn the other day
I can’t seem to find the 1500 count on Amazon I see a 1200.
