Ok, a little insight: We had a Sony HD Camcorder from 2010ish. The parts in the "Snacks" performance were actually recorded to VHS tape and then converted back to digital :)

So many people asking about that :) Here's the "secret": It was a 2008 HD Sony Camcorder but with stabilization turnt off. Other footage can be seen used in other parts, w/lens filters etc. The footage was later recorded on VHS tape and re-captured. So it's sorta true analog - via proxy. At least it seems it was worth the effort! :)
