Thank God Fleet the Dice Game was on one of the 2 list. That game is BLOODY AMAZING and deserves to be in everyones Roll n Writes top 10. I'm shocked that it was apart of the communities top 10 list though(I would've put it in over Welcome To...). For myself and a coworker of mine we LOVE Roll n Writes and play them whenever we hang out to play games before getting into any meatier game(We get together anywhere from 3-5x a week to play games) as well as on our lunch breaks at work or when we are feeling bored and want to do something fun and quick. Our top 10 shockingly enough ended up being the exact same but just in a different order and neither of us are a fan of Welcome To...(I own in and we've played it 5x to see if it got better each time but for us it became more and more boring the more we played it so we haven't played it since). We both LOVE and have played Ganz Schon Clever and Doppelt So Clever a TON of times each and we both have the apps for both the games on our phones(I've played Ganz Schon Clever 1200x between both the app and on paper while my coworker has played it about 200x and with Doppelt I've played it 1000x while my coworker has played it about 350x).
My Top 10 Roll n Write games are as follows......
    1) Fleet the Dice Game- I agree it's soo bloody amazing and fun to play. So many combos and so many choices.
    2) Ganz Schon Clever- I just can't get enough of it because again so many choices with so many combos and trying to figure out what's the best thing to take given what's rolled.
    3) Doppelt So Clever- Same as Ganz Schon Clever and I love the whole aspect of being able to return a die/multiple die during the game with the special power that allows you to do so because you can usually go for something you really want/need like a 6 Green(Or any colour) then be able to get back one that you may also need/want in order to attempt to roll it higher for a way better score in the end.
    4) Cartographers: A Roll n Writes Tale- Everything that was said in this video about it is all I can say
    5) Dizzle- This game is just amazing. I've played it and taught it a good 50x since getting it a month ago and can't stop playing it. In this game you're trying to get points by crossing out Gem marked dice as well as columns/rows as well as puzzle pieces hoping to also make it to these bombs that are placed on each of the 4 different round sheets in different areas either before your opponents do or at the same time so that you don't lose any points. I HIGHLY recommend it if you haven't played it yet.
    6) Qwixx- Nothing more to say then what was in this video
    7) Rolling America/Rolling Japan- Again nothing more to say that hasn't already been said in the video
    8) OctoDice- To me it's an overlooked game because I'm guessing many don't know about it....This is a general summary about it. Each die has a few icons and number and color combinations. These match up with the sets that players attempt to score such as crystals, research, labs, bots, and submarines. Players must also roll at least two octopods per turn or else lose two points. Very underrated but also very fun and a highly recommended Roll n Write game.
    9) Steamrollers- In this game it's much like Railroad in but instead you're laying track in order to deliver your train as well as a pick up and deliver style game. I think Steph had a preview of it from Origins last year??? Amazing game and also worth having in any collection.
    10) On Tour- Amazing game where you're rolling 2 die and using both numbers to make a number then placing it on a map of the US trying to connect numbers together in order to make routes that'll connect you to the most States as well as having many "circled" States in order to get he highest score. When trying to connect a state to one another you draw a line from one number to the next going in ascending order trying to cover as much of the map as possible sending you and your "band mates" on the furthest possible tour of the US. Also HIGHLY recommend this one.

There was a comment in here that Tiny Towns is essentially a roll and write. I see this repeated a lot, but it's not really accurate. The real charm and tension in Tiny Towns comes from the fact that after building the pattern on your board, you remove all of the blocks and place the building on just one of the used squares. So it takes a lot more spatial reasoning and planning than a typical roll and write or tile laying game. You could technically play Tiny Towns with an erase mechanic, but it wouldn't work nearly as elegantly. It's kind of its own thing, and I think the cutesy theme prevents people from realizing it's a tight abstract strategy game up there with the great ones like Azul: Summer Pavilion.

I agree with Nick I can't get into some of those "clever" games. I tried and would have given up on roll-n-writes if I hadn't tried Rolling America and Fleet.

Late to the party on this one. My wife and I have been getting into Roll/Flip and Writes of late. We have Welcome To..., Welcome to Dino World, and cartographers. All are great. Now I'm looking for other ones of interest. I ordered Floor Plan from the publishers of Welcome To.. Looks interesting and looks like it will bring out my inner architect.
Fleet the Dice game seem to have a lot of praise. I'm hesitant though. You mention combos and such. How is it likely you will do the same strategy if that works well for you. Is re-playability based solely on the dice roll?

Monopoly is ok and the grand daddy of it all. Its certainly not a perfect game but its typically played wrong with modern non players being actually clueless about the real rules. Anyway Monopoly has LOTS of things that modern games should aspire to....clear winning condition, cutesy pieces, a universal theme which can be localised, easy to learn... the closest that modern gaming has got to that is Ticket To Ride

Sorry not digging this series.Hearing the BGG top 10 is fine, but to hear two confident, random, mouthy gamers mentioning their personal faves (which could be taken as two fingers up to the thousands of BGG gamers) does nothing for me.
