Nice ties ,this question has nothing to do with milling, but I've heard sawers talk of sights on chain saws could you show them some day?,thanks for the video
People will ask u what it is like sawing frozen logs. Slow down a bit until the saw is seated into the cut then speed up a bit. You do the same with a bandsaw. You don't want to see the outcome of a saw that breaks. Not pretty and downright frightening.
I’m unaware of this beef you speak of. To be honest I just don’t have time to watch other people’s stuff. I didn’t even know about the shout out he did, back when it happened, until like a month after the fact. I didn’t get any tags or mentions in the description. I only caught it because a sub did eventually mention it.
@Helmsburgsawmill gotcha, I didn't really want to mention it in the comments but I figured what can it actually hurt to ask. I figured it was probably more of a misunderstanding than anything! I don't want to overstep any boundaries or anything buy maybe I can help quash it!?
I try to catch some of Mark’s stuff, but it’s only pieces when I can. I have a lot of irons in the fire with my own personal life so it’s hard to stay up to date. Did he say something in a video?
I would say twice a year. Scroll back to this fall and I have a batch on here. Veneer buyers buy the nice stuff. Mills are left with tips. And anyone turning veneer logs into slabs, would make more money selling them to a veneer buyer
I love the sound of your saw and carriage
Enjoyed the video, thanks!

I know exactly what you’re talking about! Yes.
What would be the use of that Poplar? Is that for baseboard or flooring?
Are your horizontal cuts to set Dimensions or best width possible?
Do you chip all your slabs or have other markets for them?
Chip a lot. Save some for random purposes. Big pieces make furnace wood
Это такая норма , 3 из 4 досок обзольные ?😢

To bad there is beef between you and bus motor! They could shout you out again and send some of their viewers over and help you meet your goal!
I was kinda bummed that my top 2 youtube channels had issues!
