Thank you for sharing a fried doughnut recipe.grandmas are the best! I miss mine very much too. My paternal grandmother passed away before I was old enough to love cooking. But she and my dad inspired my love for the kitchen. I am a doughnut snob, and in my book, if it is baked, it is not a doughnut. I know, a strange bias, but it is how I feel. I think these would be wonderful with pomegranate jelly as well.
