Over watched great movies with rotten comments on top, and really extremely bad movies with superb comments. 😊
It's the same with series. Very often people find superficial, very shallow movies and series great. I don't. Also I try to watch movies and series in original language, because very often the translation is not accurate, either incomplete or simply wrong. This very often destroys the story and the viewing experience.
EDIT: I wouldn't recommend this movie and I don't understand all these over the top positive comments.
The girl playing the alien must have a huge family out there to write all the positive comments about her even though her acting is gross and she also isn't "sooo cute and awesome" as comments state.
Anyone with common sense.
A really good movie. I loved Gracie Lacey once she got going. Very fun and cute and thought provoking. Interesting how they made a good movie without a single shot fired, no one dead and no profanity, and I didn’t miss any of that a bit!
Don't ya wish they could make a feature on televisions where you could choose a setting where it bleeps out profanity?!! Seems to me they ought to be capable of doing that already. Can't tell you how many movies I've started to watch and have had to turn off after five minutes cause I've heard the "F" word five times in the first five minutes. It's disgusting how low people have become to think that is just another everyday word. It's so unnecessary. I'd rather hear the bleep sound then have to listen to that word.

This movie is so under rated, I would not have been disappointed to see this on the big screen.
Sci-Fi Central put yet another GREAT, family-friendly, sci-fi, fun + serious story and lessons movie written, directed and acted by TALENTED PEOPLE on their channel. Perfect. Kudos to those who CREATED this movie and kudos to Sci-Fi Central for sharing it on their channel.
Definitely don’t want to spoil this, so I won’t. All I’m going to say is you can feel the emotions throughout this great movie. This doesn’t need a sequel, but I’d positively watch a second one with no doubt. Thanks for posting such a positive movie.

I admit that I was a little hesitant to watch this movie but I am so glad I did. Well written, well designed, wonderful cast and a twist at the end that was, well, just really nice without going over the top.
Great movie! Lots of twist and turns I didn't expect! I wish there was a sequel, I'd definitely watch it. I'd strongly recommend it especially for us who believe in other life in the Universe. Watch and enjoy. My whole family did! ❤
I love watching B grade movies. They can only succeed if they have a great storyline, good writing and great acting. This one had it all. Very simplified. Plus, as others have stated, no gratuitus violence/killing, no crazy outfits, no nudity no excessive swear words. Sure, for a Sci-Fi movie, they didn't resort to cheap special effects either.
It was the comments that led me to watch this movie. So, many thanks guys. Cheers.

It really depends on the age of the kids. No swearing, no sex, no getting drunk, etc… They can’t watch it.
But if they are 12 and up, they can watch it!

I was even more thrilled that Darryl Anka who channels the alien Bashar wrote the story. And I believe the ufo he saw looks like the one in the movie❤

Surprisingly good movie.... one of the few happy ending alien movies where the aliens aren't evil... and we are not stupid.

This movie has grown on me. This is my fourth time watching and I still love it. Gracie Lacey is heart-warming, and surely the guy who plated the alien-hunter was the same guy who cried, "To the tower! Rapunzel, Rapunzel!" in the movie Airplane? And wasn't the studio where Jordan worked also where Friends lived?

Straight up engaging flick with all the right ingredients for a very pleasant viewing experience without the usual formulaic predictable schtick! That Gracie made for a fetching ET too!!!

I am just a bit past the halfway mark. I had to pause to praise the "artist" actor/actress. She plays the part so well, and effortlessly, that when either of the two scientists (for example) read their lines, It reminds me that they are actors just reading their lines... LOL.
I'm enjoying the movie, she's just so believable in her roll compared to some of the cast that I get lost in the moment.
Execlent balance of sci-fi character development and relationships. Very real people.

Beautiful? She looks like a 10 year old boy with clown makeup on, with the eyebrows of a 80 year old Greek man 😂 I was sitting here wondering if she was trans. Maybe if she could act I'd give her a couple points but no luck there either.
Are you deleting the negative comments? I finally gave up on it at minute 44.00 because it had no energy. All i could see thats exciting about this movie is the girl is beautiful.

Not at all what I expected. It's great that this was made.
Apart from the romance, there are some highly tantalizing insights into Quantum-level physics & space-time. I did not expect this to turn up in such a movie. I do not know enough to understand this at any level, but the theories in the dialogue did impact me in a strange tingly fashion.
It was a surprisingly simple theory, that each object carries the frequency of its location, and that by changing that frequency, the location is changed as well. Since time is nothing but movement, or location change of an object, it can happen in an instant.
@@monkymind4316 Well Sir/Madam, I am a retired Electronics Engineer. What you have said makes no sense to me whatsoever. Frequency, and therefore implied resonance, has no relationship to space that I know of, but in the sense of periodicity, does have a relationship with time.
If you have more information to back your statement, I would be most grateful to learn of it.

fANTASTIC MOVIE! Well done. Wasn't sure what to expect, certainly worth a nice evening and a bottle of wine to go with it!! A sequel if done to this same quality level would be worth the watch!! I'd say it far surpasses some of the crap in the theaters these days. And no woke political crap makes it worth its' weight in gold!! Nice work!!

Cool movie, watched it about 3 times now, the acting isn’t the best but it’s good enough to tell a good story
This is the kind of movie that we older folks used to enjoy when Disney did their “Sunday night Disney Movie” series on TV back when we were kids. Back then, Disney was a safe, non-political, funny, moral, ethical, and acceptable for kids and adult watching, type of platform, which does not exist today. (Disney has turned very evil and is NOT a safe, suitable for kids, platform today). Would love to see more movies like this one!!

A pleasant surprise of a movie. I say that as a human-ET hybrid here from Planeta Fred (not of your solar system), but of the ancient Ford Galaxy near to the Milky Way (yes, I know. We planted that line in the Spaceballs movie script). I am here to observe and report. Birthed in Buffalo, New York, USA. Now I reside in Colonia Centro Histórico, Puebla, México since 2014. I gotta tell ya, the ET mom with her 7 languages gets all my admiration. Learning a new language here has not been easy. Beginning had me very worried this was going to be a junk script, but after the first half hour, it picked up, and turned out to be a half way decent comical sci-fi flick, after all.

Good movie. I kept thinking of the concept "uncanny valley" which refers to a robot, an artificial human that can almost pass, but not quite. Her makeup is almost alien, but not quite. The technobable uses real terms and almost expresses a concept, but not quite. The overall impression is almost like real life, but not quite. I guess the actual term is "quirky".
Good story to this movie. Keeps you interested until the end.

Kinda cheesy, but I like that. I low-key got a crush on Gracie Lacey in this film. She was very good at her job in this film. Wasn't too enamored with Michael though, but maybe I feel that way because of how he treated his father? Either way, well-written and very enjoyable!

The acting took a little time for them to get into it, but it was a cute film with a new look at things. I almost quit it too early, but I got hooked on it until the end, and I'm happy I did.

This must have been a Hallmark movie. I think even my ex wife would like it. A nice change for me. It reminds me of a movie I saw when I was a little kid. Might have been the first movie I ever saw. I think the name was Moon Pilot. Similar plot with the lead being an astronaut who falls in love with an Alien girl who is being chased by an FBI agent. This movie is just as good and I love the girl who played Jordan. Girl Moon Pilot was named Lyrea played by a pretty French Model named Dany Saval. This movie ends in France. I wonder if it was a shout out to the old film. Great fun.😊
