I like how the rules of mystery are mentioned with each chapter name 1) The criminal must be someone mentioned in early part of the story, but must not be anyone whose thoughts the reader has been allowed to follow. 2) All supernatural or preternatural agencies are ruled out as a matter of course. 3) Not more than one secret room or passage is allowable. 4) No hitherto undiscovered poisons may be used, nor any appliance which will need a long scientific explanation at the end. 5) No accident must ever help the detective, nor must he ever have an unaccountable intuition which proves to be right. 6) The detective must not himself commit the crime. 7) The detective must not light on any clues which are not instantly produced for the inspection of the reader. Umineko is truly a thesis on the mystery genre and with mixed in fantasy it becomes the epic which I will never ever forget.
I'm really am glad that these rules of mystery is already outdated today. Because if these rules still applies today...then there would be only a handful of mystery novels would exist...and they might have the same type of plotlines and themes. 😁
This thing is so jacked with spoilers that a first time watcher won't even be able to tell its head from tail and therefore it's as good as not having any spoilers :D

As much as I love the updated Alchemist art, I feel like this is a case where the OP actually flowed better in the initial version that used Ryukishi's stuff. They try and cram in so many shots of their fancy art that they often end up breaking from the flow of the song's rhythm. It's especially noticeable around the chorus.

It's the console opening of Last Note of the Golden Witch. It's an epilogue of some sorts that was included in Umineko Saku (the side content that was written by Ryukishi and cramped into a single release afterwards).
Hello! You can use them by applying the 07th Mod patch on the steam game, or you can download the Umineko Project port! (The latter is the best option).
