So simple, yet so beautiful. I feel like so many of us are trying to create these over the top, hundreds of layers for depth, tumblers lately so it's nice to bring it back to simple. 💜
This is sooo pretty! I have been needing to make a butterfly cup for someone very special, and this quote is perfect!!! Thank you so much for the idea!💜
Absolutely stunning. I love this idea, plus I'm a butterfly lover so it's perfect. Thx from a Wa state (Oly area) fan. Luv, luv, luv your channel and would love to meet you sometime.
I love this - I have been thinking of a butterfly design for my sis in law and this quote is so perfect- definitely inspired 💜💜 I just subbed to FSX too!! I’m so excited 🎉
I love this quote and the theme you picked for it is perfect!! 💜 Q: on the final layer, did you take the Epoxy all the way to the bottom? Thank you for your consistency, I love your videos! 🥰🌵🥰
I love this! I have an aunt who is a believer and loves butterflies, so perfect! I love your brush and am seeing these more and more recently. What do you find works well for cleaning them?
I love the design! I’m a little confused though sorry is link to join group open now or sold out for the month at this point. I feel like I always miss the announcement.
Hi Nicole, I noticed on your final count you didn’t tape off the bottom and it looked like maybe the epoxy went past the glittered portion… Is that correct? Or are you cleaning that area once you’re done applying it?
Yes, you want to go past the glitter portion to create a seal on the stainless portion. Same reason why i sand the top rim to expose a small line of stainless steel for the epoxy to bond to. You can use a baby wipe or towel with alcohol or acetone to wipe along the bottom of the cup if your epoxy gets on the bottom.
After you finish the decals, do you spray it with clear spray? Before epoxy? After I put my decals on I think some oils from my hands were on my cup when I epoxies because I got a couple spots where the epoxy just moved and in those spots it looks like I didn't even put epoxy on it.
You could if you want to, but you have to make sure your hands are clean and free of any lotions/oils, etc, before handling your tumbler and materials. Otherwise, your epoxy will repel, creating fish eyes like you describe.
On the last layer you didn’t tape the bottom off, do you just take the epoxy to the edge of the cup for that layer or do you round the edge and do the bottom?
I didnt epoxy the bottom. I just ran it around without spreading it passed the bottom rim. If you do that and find it didnt spread even along the edge, you can use a baby wipe or paper towel with alcohol to gently wipe unwanted excess.
Don't clean your cup after you spray paint it. There are a lot of reasons you couldve gotten fish eyes. Too much heat, the spray paint could've needed more time to dry, washing the spray paint could've caused some reaction..
Thank you!! I should have said I cleaned it then spray painted it. This has happened to 2 of my cups. Maybe the paint wasn’t dry enough. Love your videos! You make beautiful cups and make it look so easy!! Keep up the great work!!
My 2 year old loves butterflies and said this was a pretty cup.

Good morning from Alabama

Just one!
This is very pretty. What’s the name of the sealer you used?
Adhesive apothecary sealer.
After you finish the decals, do you spray it with clear spray? Before epoxy? After I put my decals on I think some oils from my hands were on my cup when I epoxies because I got a couple spots where the epoxy just moved and in those spots it looks like I didn't even put epoxy on it.

@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you so much :) this probly gives a nicer/cleaner look. I will give this a try.
Where can we get the adhesive apothecary sealer. I have googled all over and can not find such a product

beautiful, and omg where did u get those earrings?
Thanks! I got the earrings from here beadingitreal.com/collections/all
