Tier 1 exam can be cracked easily,but in tier 2 ,there is skill test. In notification,they say typing speed of 80wpm. But the thing is ,this is actually the speed of some one reading a paragraph.
A paragraph will be read by the instructor through speaker to the hall and during this ,you should write it down on the book provided by them,in STENOGRAPHY. you can't write or memorize it any other ways.then you should translate it to english,then type it on the computer.
This is the procedure.
THEREFORE ONLY THOSE WHO KNOWS STENOGRAPHY SHOULD APPLY PLEASE.

SSC Stenographer jitna asan dikhta hai utna hai nahi short hand (stenography) sikhna bhut challenging hai Isliye iss exam me math nahi hai, Short hand ka toh sirf basic sikhne me 5 to 6 month lagta hai,

@@pawan5101 nope he's not. I once cleared tier 1 . But I don't have proficiency in STENOGRAPHY. There was nothing on the notification saying that you should know steno,just typing speed is mentioned. But once i went to tier 2 ,then i realised what that mention was. Without stenography ,you can't clear it. There were many like me who dont know what is going to happen in tier 2 ,who cleared tier 1. What he said is true

@@monikakhatri7259 i cracked first tier ,two years back. but i had no idea how the second tier would be. i asked to my friends, batch mates but none actually have any idea. so i went to the second tier. all i know is the typing speed requirement, 80wpm. i was expecting that they will give matter, and we should type it at a speed of 80wpm on the computer. but the test was like " they will play the matter as audio ( or live speech through speaker) and we should note it down in stenography and then to english and type it. the speaking speed is 80wpm. so if you DONT KNOW STENOGRAPHY, YOU CAN"T CLEAR TIER 2

You can easily qualify cgl mains but not stenographer skill test minimum minimum 8 to 12 months lagte h and lots of hard work

1 year is sufficient for learning English Shorthand if u study with complete dedication. I myself cleared SSC STENO 2023. For shorthand, u need regularity and practice.

8:25 ye pre cut off ha final cut off grade d ki 145 plus gyi ha bhai ye b btao... skill test k koi marks nhi hote final cut off me pre ki cut off hi bdha di jati ha.
so ghuma fira k safe score 150 plus ha jo lana bhut difficult ha... also skill 6 months me unseen dictation 80 wpm pe is next to impossible if you are new for steno. it takes almost 1 yr.
also maths is better than steno.
