This song deserves an explanation video reaction. Please watch UGH explained by DKDKTV. BTS lyrics are deep, full of wordplay and symbolism and that's part of the charm of BTS. The amount of thought and hard work they put into their work is unreal 💜💜💜💜

I was cracking up during your video. I love it when people discover BTS and genuinely feel themself. If you really want to know what RM can do I highly recommend his two solo songs from his 1st Mixtape "RM - Joke" and "RM - Throw Away" His flow and rythm changes are insane!
The BTS rapline has a very distinctive sound and RM (the leader and first member of BTS the pillar the group was built around for his insane rap lyrics and rap flow) absolutely has a unique sound that stands out. This song has such a deep important meaning I’ll echo others to watch the DKDKTV explanation as they go through all the Korean language and cultural context. People often expect BTS to be some nice sweet boy band and they are actually often some of the hardest most “lit” as you said. I love that you addressed the pre conception we all carry. The other thing you’ll find if you listen more is they have the most diverse catalog of songs and creative blending of genres. The most common thing I see new reactors say is “I don’t even know what to classify this as” because in a catalog of over 300 songs they care about exploring music with deep meanings. The song Ugh is basically about online hate, and anger in society and how we waste anger on each other when we could be changing the world with that anger. They performed a pretty radical song along with their Cypher 3 which is equally as intense in front of government officials who have been fucking with them and their careers a week ago live. As their way of saying “you don’t control us” and the day after this concert they gave the govt the biggest middle finger I’ve seen a performer give, by saying you don’t control us we aren’t going to be in debt by asking for an exemption from mandatory military service (which the govt has spent 4 years trying to decide if BTs is worthy of an exemption) and they all announced they were enrolling in the military and will be back as 7 in 2025 stunning the govt and the world but Army their fans trust and are so proud of how they did it.
Dkdtv have said some very nasty things about armys and have continued to use bts for clout and clicks to profit of them even though they've disrespected them many times. Their ugh explanation video is good, but I don't think it's worth recommending them based on everything they have done
@@CL-cn8wt I think their problems started because they're not a BTS-only channel. Then they got mistreated by some ARMYs who didn't like what one of the DKs said about the relation about BTS and kpop in general. Maybe he was shady, but they didn't speak badly of ARMY in general, but of those who were unkind (I'm being indirect here because of YTs community policies), and unlike James Corden, they were clear about their beef being only against that kind of treatment and not the fandom
@@MarinaEariel are you referring to the time he was telling armys to k* themselves while laughing about it? They've shaded army and bts multiple times on their channel, it's not a 1 time instance. They don't have bts best interest in mind, they are just trying to use army .

BTS is definitely not your average K-Pop group. One of the things that I feel sets them apart from all of the others is that they are not afraid to go hard when they really want to. They like to be diverse in their sounds. They have great choreography with very on point synchronization. Then you also layer on the fact that their members are multi-talented. You have members who are part of their vocal line who can rap (Jungkook) and members of the rap line who can sing (J-Hope). Once you listen to them and see what they are all about, you cannot help but become a fan and cheer them on. They constantly surprise people with their concepts, songs, and choreography. But then you add on how humble and grateful they are to their fans (ARMY) it is a lock because you can tell it is not an act. They are definitely a rarity in today's music industry. 💜
I really feel you cause I wanted to be a K-pop fan so bad but now it’s gotten to a point where I don’t get excited watching any other group unless it’s BTS and I even cringe watching groups thirst traps on TikTok it seems so forced to me it’s just not enjoyable anymore idk why🤦🏽♀️
I recommend watching them live one of my favorites is outro tear live with English subtitles. They also just had a free concert that was also live stream over 50m people watching. The mic drop and run bts were the start of the concert you could find the videos posted on TH-cam as well yet to come 2030 Busan concert.
Listen to Outro Tear! Also all of their stuff is all so different and cool. You never know what you'll get. They can go from love ballads, to rap, to slow and sad to fun. You might also like Louder than Bombs! One of my favs too. That's what I love about them. You just never know what style you'll get on their cds. Run BTS is fun too.
I recently started following you and I feel you! I'm from the south too, North Carolina (gonna raise up, take your shirt off, swish it round yo head, spin it like a helicopta ~PeteyPablo) But as you were saying, you can't just sit still reacting to this video! I love bts (look at my profile pic, it's Kim Seokjin) But I love all types of music too! I don't mean to stereotype, but you don't see many black folks that love country music. I have 2 black friends that like country music, and that's it. It's really refreshing to see your reactions. I mean, I love your reactions, but I love your personality even more!! You seem like you'd be a great friend 💜That's as high praise as I think a person can get! Keep up the good work brother 💜💜
I love your honesty about how you felt about BTS before you even listen to them for that reason I have subscribed to you... am glad you like them now ....
So glad you are enjoying! I'll add a couple more recommends: Suga's Daechwita (released under his alternative stage name Agust D), J-hope's Arson, and BTS early b-sides: Second Grade and Spine Breaker). Also, I think that you Do Not need to watch the "explained" videos to appreciate BTS' music. So, do or don't watch them... based on your own preference. I'm sure that ARMYs will flood the comments with explanations either way. 😁
Arriving now on this channel and loving how he is letting himself get to know the boys without a thousand and one prejudices. Keep it up boy, I'm proud of you for that!🇧🇷💜
Every BTS song becomes a whole new experience live! Omg you can’t imagine the energy that they give us on stage. It’s like pure adrenaline trust me I’ve been in LA live and damn I ended up without voice….
Yaaaasssss!!!......I feel you on how RM has a 'sound'. Anyone that listened to the 90s rappers knows they all had their own unique sound and RM definitely falls into that category where he has his own unique sound and a smooth flow. His verses always hits hard on BTS songs.
You've got the right attitude and an open mind. Love the reaction vid! I have never regretted getting into BTS and I don't think I ever will. I hope you can also dive into them deeper; their music is so versatile and multi-layered! There's a lot going on under the surface.
You are cracking me up. I watched your other BTS reaction & was agreeing with you up & down. It's ok you had preconceptions & you're right, everyone does it. Thumbs up & new subscriber!
i really appreciate you owning up to your humanity and speaking to our tendencies to have preconceptions! that's the mark of a mature human :) glad you enjoyed this side of BTS.
I had a blast watching your reaction. Ugh! is the song that obliterated my preconceived notion that I didn't like rap music. J-hope recently released his first solo album, Jack in the Box. I have a hunch you'd love it. And at this year's Lollapalooza, he made history as the first Korean artist to headline a major American music festival. He crushed it.
I really think that any fan of hip hop would like this song. It just a matter of (Like you said) people having preconceived notions and not wanting to listen to it because they assume it will be bad. Thanks for having such an open mind. 😊
This gave me such a giggle 🤣 the rap line brings so many new fans in. Suga is my bias, but they are all amazing. Also, all the rappers have their own mixtapes, and as of this year J-Hope has a full album Jack in the Box which is amazing. Please, watch UGH live from Busan, it goes straight into Cypher PT.3, and both are fire together. 💜 Subscribing just to follow your journey!
Thank you for your reaction! I like that you keep an open mind. I think it's perfectly fine to vibe with a song instead of dissecting the lyrics. I have no problem with that. However, since lyricism is one of BTS's strong points and they write more than just love songs, it's still a good idea to read them so you know what each song is about.
Thank youuuu!!! 💜💜💜 I bet you'll love "Ddaeng" from the same 3 rappers...and then you'll get to know the rest of the boys in the vocal line...together, they're FIREEEEEEEE!!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜
6:59 😂😂😂 SO FUNNY BUT SO RIGHT. Part of why I like watching u react to this is seeing your "preconceived notions" get shattered. Good on you for being open!!! Seriously I laugh watching you react and am vibin along witchu
That’s the key to all of their music. You can’t sit still because each song pulls you in emotionally, even when you don’t understand all of the words. Like with this song, you automatically know it’s about anger even if you just hear it without any video. You are a very intelligent,, thoughtful person and I love your reactions. Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

J-Hope just released a new cd and "Jack in the Box" is AWESOME! And for Suga, "Agust-d" and the solo of the new album is awesome too. Can't remember the spelling cause it's not English but it'll pop up if you search for him.
I love that you own your preconceptions,, it’s only natural and it makes you checking out there music that much more commendable. Much love and gratitude 💜

They are the prettiest 😂
Their vocal line is some of the best vocals in the game as well.
Two reactions in and you’ve won my respect and laughter so many times already - SUBBED❣️
The rappers in BTS they are something else, aren’t they? 😀💜❤️
I see you've been shook. Thanks for giving your thoughts and being real. Enjoy the ride with the rap line.
Even after years i still cant believe how good they are and they are getting better😳
Beautiful smile. And yes, you can't be more far in your first impression for them. They are incomparable. For group
Fun reactions! Chief is super quiet but that's ok haha
ARMY won't steer you wrong. Take your time and enjoy. Watch out for the rabbit hole. 💜
Thank you for the reaction! Wait till you see them live!!
You have to see this live, there is no other way to do it justice. The recent live performance at Busan is OUTSTANDING!
BTS' rap line is just 🙌🏻🔥
love your energy! music is music no matter what language it's sang or genra it is, enjoying it is what's important
It would be amazing if you saw the performance they did of this song on their Busan Concert last weekend, they're so good live!
You right homie, I don't know what they say, but this ish Krunk!! Great reaction brother!
I love your genuine reaction and looking forward to more BTS reactions!
you should react to their 2021 Festa live perfomance. You will be able to see ALL the members perform snippets of some of their songs.💜💜
i really appreciate you owning up to your humanity and speaking to our tendencies to have preconceptions! that's the mark of a mature human :) glad you enjoyed this side of BTS.
Your reaction is everything! I love it and welcome to the rabbit hole!!! 💜
I really think that any fan of hip hop would like this song. It just a matter of (Like you said) people having preconceived notions and not wanting to listen to it because they assume it will be bad. Thanks for having such an open mind. 😊
Your reactions to BTS is EVERYTHING!! More BTS reactions please ❤️❤️
One thing about us we’re the BTS ARMY and welcome to the journey we purple you 💜💜💜💜💜
*There's nothin' better than a first time reaction as someone falls down the BTS rabbit hole!*
*Dude. There ain't no comin' back now!*
💥🔥👍🤘🎤🎧💯
This gave me such a giggle 🤣 the rap line brings so many new fans in. Suga is my bias, but they are all amazing. Also, all the rappers have their own mixtapes, and as of this year J-Hope has a full album Jack in the Box which is amazing. Please, watch UGH live from Busan, it goes straight into Cypher PT.3, and both are fire together. 💜 Subscribing just to follow your journey!
How fun it is when you started to react to BTS your views shoot up! That’s DOPE. Welcome to our world 🫰🏼
Thank you for your reaction! I like that you keep an open mind.
I think it's perfectly fine to vibe with a song instead of dissecting the lyrics. I have no problem with that.
However, since lyricism is one of BTS's strong points and they write more than just love songs, it's still a good idea to read them so you know what each song is about.
Dont worry about it cuz my brothers literally fall for them BTS too cuz you cant deny their beauty man omg its insane. They look really finneeeeee
U got to watch their ugh and cypher pt.3 BUSAN to see how amazing they are at live performance
👌👌👌💜💜💜
The performance of this song at Busan Concert a few weeks ago, the greatest I've seen!
Thank youuuu!!! 💜💜💜 I bet you'll love "Ddaeng" from the same 3 rappers...and then you'll get to know the rest of the boys in the vocal line...together, they're FIREEEEEEEE!!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜
They're Dope :)
He is going to fall of his chair and i can't wait ❤️🇿🇦
6:59 😂😂😂 SO FUNNY BUT SO RIGHT. Part of why I like watching u react to this is seeing your "preconceived notions" get shattered. Good on you for being open!!! Seriously I laugh watching you react and am vibin along witchu
Yeah RM's voice has a great sound. His voice has a really crisp and rich tone to it.
The rap line is top tier for me cuz I don’t even really like rap especially not today’s rap anyway but these dudes right here stay spittin deep shit even when they just playin around 💜 try the cypher’s next or Tear
Can’t wait for more BTS vides from you!!!
Thanks for sharing your reactions!
Glad you liked the song but wait til you see their live performance. Thanks 😊
PREACH! Everyone has preconceptions!!! Loving your BTS journey so far. Can't wait for more!!!
"Suga" short for Shooting Guard his favorite position in basketball! Agust D is his solo work stage name Suga backwards and DT for Daegu Town his home town. Love your reaction hope you travel down the rabbit hole as ARMY call it, it is so worth it.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🐳
Mad respect to someone who can admit when they were wrong. It was become increasingly rare in this day and age.
BTS are some Beautiful men. Don't let their beautiful faces trick you. They are the most talented and can do anything and everything....
I recommend the Live UGH/Cypher 3 performance they just did at the Busan concert a few weeks ago...it was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💣💣💣💣💥💥💥💥
Loved thissss, you definitely should react to the live version of this song, is insane, I actually loved the last presentation that was in the Busan concert
Love the reaction 😂😅 I’m subbing
You are so much fun to watch. Loved your reaction!!
J-hope is the coolest name ever! wait till you hear his solo album 'Jack in the Box' and hopefully you'll get the meaning behind it cause that album is like a story and a whole song + the intro are kinda dedicated to this. I'm sure you will get it
I just stumbled upon your account and CHIEF!! YOU GOTTA LISTEN TO THE “CYPHERS” by these guys.. I BET EVERYTHING YOU WILL BE BLOWN TF AWAY..
RM for sure has a distinct voice! His album is excellent as well. You should also look at Daechwita by SUGA under his solo name Augst-D. He's a badass 😎
i just found your reactions and im loving them... i hope you've watched some live concerts of them doing these rap songs.. cause seriously seeing them do these live is a whole other experience!!
i love your reaction, if you are interested watch them sing 'ugh and killer' from the busan concert. bts just had a live concert which is currently on you tube. welcome to the bts rabbit hole.
Love your honesty, great reaction, thanks for the BTS love. 💜
Unc, you gotta watch them do this live! You not crunk enough for me!😂😂
I loved everything about this reaction, you're awesome 💜💜
Great followup, can't wait for JOKE 😁
that's what it's called PRE-conception, thanks for keep in it real bro, thanks for enjoying the song insted of write a essay about it, it's music
You’re about to get some serious history lessons about BTS from Army (fans). Their rap line is freaking amazing - vocal lines too. BTS are all genres, you can’t not put these guys in a box. Enjoy your trip down the rabbit hole!
Great reaction!! Welcome to the BTS ARMY!!!! It is the gift that keeps on giving. Please keep reacting to BTS, I will enjoy every moment throughout your journey 💜
Could you please react to UGH Live in concert and Cypher 3 live in concert, This concert was 2 weeks ago in Busan, S. Korea. You deserve to see UGH Live. It's off the chain! LIT!
THIS is the recognition from the American hiphop community that BTS deserves!! I am gonna watch all these reactions then go cry myself to sleep with overwhelming pride and joy. Oh...and YES those are some pretty boys LMFAO
