Roberts (or whoever is on the pitching staff) probably wants to give Bobby Miller more experience at the mound since the Dodgers are ahead in wins by a lot. However, it certainly isn't fun to watch them hit bombs off our pitchers.
@@Aoi75Z id be inclined to agree. He needs to become more confident as a pitcher and get used to the mental side of the game, that is all that is letting him down. He won't get that experience sitting on the bench.

Let’s give it up for Tommy Edman. 2 consecutive 2 HR games and he hit them from both sides of the plate! He’s clutch and say what you will but that throw last night should’ve been caught by Rojas but he let it go straight into the dugout, he should know the alignment of the throw. Shouldn’t have been throwing error.

@@Joe_Okeykopech has been outstanding since he got to the Dodgers. Only the second earned run he's allowed so we should cut him some slack. Just has to have better control next time.
Offense once again saving the pitchers. Miller is literally/statistically one of the worst pitchers in the league, gotta make sure to keep him, Buehler, and Kershaw off the postseason roster
At this point, Tony Gonsolin and his encouraging performance at AAA is a better option in the playoff rotation than Bobby Miller, Walker Buehler and Clayton Kershaw. And Landon Knack is a better option than all four of them.
If Bobby Miller really has the possibility of revival, we should sell him to reconstructing team and get a good pitcher. We shouldn’t take the risks of using him.
Dodgers are blessed with an awesome two-way player Shohei Ohtani and now they have a clutch switch hitting Gold Glover Tommy Edman who can play the outfield and the infield. Crazy talents.
When they cut to Kopech just kicking the sand and looking bored while Phillips was more or less slamming the door in the 8th, I thought this was an automatic W at that point. Boy was I wrong, never thought its was going to take three batters for Kopeck to find the strike zone.
Ive really been tryna believe in bobby miller but honestly we may gotta trade, option, or dfa him come the offseason. Ohtani, edman, and lux all came through in important moments though! Glad that lux is hitting well but on the flip side we should’ve dfa’ed taylor over heyward
Heyward can only realistically play one position. He wasn't going to get much of an opportunity competing against Mookie and Teo in those corner outfield spots. They wanted Heyward to get his chance somewhere else for meaningful playing time.
I read Big Poppi is feeling sour grapes because he never got an MVP, the reason is the guy only got 1 stolen base a year, Shohei this season has better War numbers than anytime in his career and is a better all around player (speed and power) Any DH that got 50-50 in the past would've absolutely won the MVP.
Pitchers have won MVP so why shouldn't a DH if he's the first to 50/50 and leads the NL in home runs and RBI? That in now way takes anything away from Ozuna who's having a great season.
Suzuki was feelin the Japanese energy that night or something LMAO he thought he had 48 steals like ohtani… what a dumb play with one out and two on base in the 9th inning while down by 2
Maybe they are saving the best for last. They had too many on the injury list. So it is possible they might not want to exhaust or injured the team ones they can’t afford to lose this month before the playoffs. Defense is lacking but offense is still strong enough to allow them to reach the playoffs so maybe they aren’t worried at all with such weak defense at the moment
Dodgers better fix their pitching issues. Starters need to be Glasnow, Yamamoto, and Flathery, Gavin stone is 4th starter. I would leave buehler and miller off the roaster. Divers also need an extra lefty. Vesia is the only lefty they have
Yeah, it's not a bad outing when you don't blow a save or lead. Maybe you can consider it a below average outing -- for him -- but he was still effective and didn't lose us the game.
Roberts NEEDS to start making better decisions regarding when to pull starters and when to use certain relievers. Dodgers offense saved him and Miller tonight
Dodger fans this could be a sign of things to come for the playoffs. If Jordan Wick has a better game the Cubs get a sweep. Dodgers must be better or they might have a quick exit again.
The dodger offence saving Miller from collecting another loss. His ERA is now over 8, and should not be starting anymore games.
It was 100% the offense, because Kopech was doing everything that he could to lose the game in the ninth inning.
Miller is still pitching because we have so many injuries… hopefully we will be healthy enough come playoffs and he will not pitch
