A great man indeed..i love his art works, they are all a masterpiece that serves as an inspiration not only to America but to people who love and understand what art is all about.
Thank you Norman (wherever you are). I look back on the sweet memories of seeing your pictures as a reflection of my inner self growing up. You showed us the best of ourselves over the years. During these uncertain times, it is especially comforting to be reminded of your images.
My wife and I visited the Norman Rockwell Museum yesterday. We were both blown away by the power of some of his Civil Rights illustrations, which we hadn't seen before.
I have plates who is interested im so sick and need medical money
awesome artist..i love him:)
да у него хорошие картины.
He was a progressive man and an American artist. His "Four Freedoms" series needs to be revisited today. We have forgotten them.
In our small Aussie town of Kilmore which was devastated by fires on Black Saturday 2009 we're fortunate to have a resident artist who teaches people of all ages. Her gentle style and buoyant spirit was great help to many after that terrible time. Last week I presented her with the "big book" First Ed. of Rockwell's work. She had never heard of the man, but was in awe and deeply moved by the endlessly nourishing spirit contained within his work.
We are made bigger than we were - thanks Norman
I was once in a coffee shop in Lyme Regis, Dorset, England when I came across a small book with Norman Rockwell paintings in it. It was so beautiful and awesome. My two daughters went to New York and brought back a gigantic book of most of his works. It is one of my most prized possessions and when I'm feeling blue I just have to open the book and my spirits are uplifted. He really was a genius.
So excited to be headed to American Chronicles exhibit today at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, AR. You come, too:)
As a Canadian born in Québec and speaking French fluently I adore your father's works. It remembers me of my early youth. What a great museum I plan to visit it.
I have a cup with Norman Rockwell drawings on it how much do they go for
Norman Rockwell Museum does not offer appraisals or authentications. Norman Rockwell is one of the most popular and licensed artists of the 20th century. His paintings have been reproduced in many different forms, including mass produced open editions, as well as limited edition prints personally signed and numbered. If you believe you have a signed Norman Rockwell, the only way to access an accurate value is to have the piece inspected by a licensed appraiser. In all cases, it is assumed these professionals will impose a service fee. Certified appraisers can be contacted through the following organizations.
