Well since you asked …. My first thoughts are none of these guys even shot the deer but yet they either want it , wanted it , or felt like it is “theirs” and have no intention of giving it to who shot it. Which technically guess he / she didn’t kill it anyway but in round about way. We have big deer in our ranch too and I get not posting pics etc but if that was only case this video wouldn’t be posted period. But just my speculations which might be 100% wrong 🤷🏻♂️

Ive hunted all my life, killed multiple moose and dozens cariboum deer,.. never had to chase down or lose a animal..These guys are horn hunters and just shoot the animal in hopes it will drop so they can get the horns, shot placement means nothing with these shits.

How did you get the legal things settled out about this? Isnt it illegal to use drones for assistance hunting? Asking cause i would love to do this in my area.
I'm attempting to find out the laws in my area too. I know drones can't assist in the hunt but recovery is a different aspect. Waiting on an answer.

I see you cart a generator around to power your BS30 battery station I’m assuming? How many BS30’s and how many TB30 battery’s do you run?

@@dronedeerrecovery do you find the one BS30 charges just as fast as you flatten the batteries in the drone? Or if you’re flying for a few hours do you reach a stage where you’re waiting on batteries to charge before you can fly?
Personally I find it ridiculous the BS30 only charges one pair of batteries at a time when this is an AC mains powered charger…

I've seen coyotes take down monster bucks with injuries. Just depends on the size of the pack. And I think that's like a 160. Not a 200. Something suspicious going on there with them guys. Not the drone dude. But the hunters.

Bow season end it February 5 here in Ohio but these videos are probably from a few weeks back is my guess.

There is something a little bit more to the story than this Hunter is telling he wants his face blurred out because he doesn’t want problems with his neighbors and the blur is so his neighbor won’t recognize his face lmao I’m pretty sure the neighbor will recognize his own land so yeah there is definitely something sketchy about this. OMG people get a drone license and think their pilots. Lord this world has gone to hell. One hour of flight time costs 350ish $. That is more than the total cost of getting a drone license. Forgive me if I never call you a pilot.

My issue is the whole respect thing. I dont understand why a big buck deserves more respect than a doe or small buck. Crazy how antler makes people act. Then, lets blur faces, and change voices, when we show the landowners truck. lmao, anyone that lives around there and knows the landowner knows that pickup.
They all deserve respect but it’s hard to live that long as a buck so it shows he was cautious and smart and a humans seems to want to respect that. How you would respect a smart horse or dog a little more than an ant … but they all are beautiful creatures and should be treated well.
You do realize does live just as long or longer and are every bit as smart. Humans want to respect those antlers thats it! Im a huge deer hunter, sitting in a stand as we speak. Thats why this buck "deserved" so much respect. You dont see them using the drone to find any does, why is that? No antlers = eh coyote food

Just generally curious about hunting after a shot on deer. One more question in the same topic, can you make a kill shot on a deer if you come up to it still alive after hours when it is clearly suffering and not going to make it through the night?
@@arikhafermann6935 Thats where there’s a gray area in the law at least here in Ohio because it clearly says it is illegal to use a drone for “hunting” but if the deer is dead it’s not considered hunting anymore. That’s why it’s legal to use a drone to recover deer but not to actually assist in directly killing it.

The "use of electronics in active pursuit or aiding in hunting" example is its illegal to send a text. "Deer walking towards you" but it is okay the send "stay ready" or "I saw deer"
