So glad I came across your channel. Absolutely love what you've achieved. I have an original Sand Scorcher ( (bought by my Dad over 40 years ago) and I just sent my 88 year old Dad a link to the BBX. Am very keen to get more details on the other mods you've made and any measurements for the cuts etc. I'm 51 and feeling very inspired to build one for my 10 year old boy to help keep me young :) Great job! Than you.
@@crazyhorses73 Thanks so much for kind words and happy to share info with you. I will get the run vid out this weekend now recovered from Flu. Your Dad will enjoy seeing it rip round. 👍
Absolutely great work! Super top 👍🏻👍🏻😍 I have a BBX and an MF-01X Rally Beetle. Now I’m in dilemma 😅 Looking forward to the running video, and please post more content on this. Cheers.
Hey, thanks. I was thinking of releasing the ‘other’ version I had in mind as it was so close which one I went with. Maybe find interesting and balance of comments??? 😎
Hello RTLRC, I will sat that you really did a exceptional job on that conversion. I just picked up the BBX, watching you do this body conversion, I am going to pick up another one, if you don't mind me taking inspiration from your build. Take care.
I dont understand the sacrifice of any model that you painstakingly build up and modify. I would have bought a new kit and started over fresh rather than destroy what I created.... The end result looked very nice though..
Don’t know how you popped up but I’m glad you did. I don’t know why but I’ve always hated the look of the BBX. Now having seen yours… wow. What a lovely bit of kit. Looks absolutely amazing with the new shell on but for some reason the love hit me when the original shell came off and it was just a skellied out space frame. Completely flipped my previous thoughts. I’ve now subscribed to your channel so thank you very much for some great mature content. No screaming in my face making my ears bleed, smashing everything to bits at the skate park and not saying BOOM every 8 seconds. In fact I’m gonna head to his channel now and unsubscribe cause unless I was 7 years old his content is p*ss poor and I end up with a headache 🤕 Sorry, be right back. 2 secs ✌🏼
Type Gorgon body mounts into google and a video comes up with how to add body mounts. This is why i hate Clipless Body Shells. My Arrma fury has a Proline Jeep Gladiator Rubicon which = no more body Parachuting.
Impressive work but your BBX was heLLa thorough! I would have kept it like you had it.

@@ahhobby2527 Ha 😂 buy another shell, they are relatively cheap as body shells go. 👍
Glad you went with the original wheel set. It really makes the look so much more authentic. Great build.
