thank you very very much, i needed to make replacements for my touhou games as i dont want them being broken but the software i uses says you need 2 images, with this tutorial i finally understand! thank you
Yep,this works great with dvd covers, new cases are available online, inserts can be scanned, damage can be repaired using a paint programme,on screen before you print it,done it several times, works great!
Thank you so much for that video I really appreciate that hopefully I have that software on my computer I will check and if I have going to get started on making the covers for my CD
Any suggestion for a back insert for compact 3-cd jewel cases? The tray has a hub for a disc so they aren't designed to accommodate one. I can only think you'd have to cut out a circular center to fit around the hub, and the disc sits on the insert.
Nice work! Im actually trying to better myself at Photoshop so i can make custom jewel case back inserts based on cardsleeve/mini-LP albums. Its a bit on tricky side but hopefully I'll master it within the next couple years. Also, have you used poly jewel cases? They look identical to regular jewels and can hold front and back inserts but these are more of a soft plastic, similar to the dvd rental cases at video stores. But they look exactly the same as a regular jewel case, with spines and all.
Thank you very much. What kind of paper do you recommend? What's the name of the program you use? In case I don't have a printer can I ask a printer store to do it? I suppose I should carry a pen with the graphics? Thank you again!
Clearly you didn't watch and "Listen" to the entire video. Let me guess, you are a Millennial with the patience of a gnat???? By have the original there, you can compare the DIY version to an original to see how good a DIY version I made is in comparison (with a simple inkjet printer - Laserjet does an even better job) - the video even covers how to obtain the artwork if you don't have the artwork covers. Please don't waste people's time if you don't even have the courtesy to put in the effort to learn!

Heavy Bond pure white paper to get best printing results. Colour laserjet is the best but my colour mega tank Epson bubble jet does an OK job.

I’m struggling to see the point in this. You already have the original right there 🤷🏻♂️
