My heart is pounding out of my chest. I was born 5 years after the camps were liberated, and both of my siblings married children of survivors. The news of Eichmann's capture was huge news in our family. Thank you for so brilliantly explaining this entire mission. So well done.
I spent time in Germany. I knew of the Holocaust, and this story. I had read about this story. I speak German. To watch this story and ‘hear’ him say he was resigned to his fate in German was chilling. It’s hard to understand how this happened only such a short time ago. For all time this should never be forgotten.
I lived in Germany for 3 1/2 years. I went to visit Dachau concentration camp. I will never forget it... There was such a profound sadness that was almost palpable. It was so chilling to see the words above the iron gates "albeit macht frie" knowing that so many walked through and never walked out. To see the crematorium...it was awful! I could not bring myself to visit the other one in Poland. I just couldn't do it... especially when I found out that they still had the mountains of ashes unburied and present for all to see. Which I think was done so people COULD NOT FORGET. Also so others could not deny. Deny, Deny. I am just thankful the ashes were buried at Dachau...😔
4:28 - it wasn't "all over one day, just like that".... the rest of the world contributed many lives, over a number of years to end it. Brave men and women fought for, and/or died to end it... and we'll do it again if it ever gets that bad again. We should do it again sooner too - with our words and actions. Lest we forget.
Very nice work. Which sofwares where used to make this video? Any ideas? I'm about to start working on an animated documentary but I'm not sure which software fits best.
Incredible how at the trial in Jerusalem, Adolf Eichmann did not feel any death, remorse or pain at the sight of the emaciated bodies! A real psychopath
Thank you for creating and publishing this. It's important not to forget not just the war, not just the Holocaust, but the aftermath as well.
I realize I am pretty randomly asking but do anyone know of a good site to watch new tv shows online ?
@Robert Lucas ehh I'd suggest Flixportal. You can find it by googling :D -franklin
@Franklin Drake thank you, I went there and it seems to work =) I really appreciate it !!

I've been watching this clip for the whole week. Chilling. I wonder whether Eichemann sensed this coming.
Brilliantly made film. Using animation in a documentary is hugely effective. We need to know our history and learn from it.
It gave me chills when they showed the map. I live in Buenos Aires and know where that place is....
Jesus.

How was this done? Are these pictures of the art work stitched together or digital sketches or? Not a visual artist but very curious

As narrated by Werner Herzog...
ah yes, Perón welcomed the Nazis
with open arms!
the title is why it has sos less views
I'm confused, I thought hitler killed himself?!?
He did. He said as much in this film. He bit down on a cyanide capsule, and blew his brains out with a pistol. Shame he wasn't captured alive!
This is not about Hitler. This is about the capture of Eichmann, who planned and organized the death camps.
he did?
