That SM store in Tianjin has very few people inside. In contrary SM malls in the Philippines are most of the over crowded especially during Christmas season.

Well even their Biggest Malls in the World are still open even if some TH-camrs visited it way back before and during the pandemic said, that the stores in those malls occupied are more or less 25% of the whole building and all stores are near the front entrance.

There are food markets and stalls like the one you mentioned in some SM malls. It really depends on the location of the SM mall you're talking about in the philippines.

China mall is closing down because of their economy. it's almost dying out no people around. Because of their President is more busy on west Philippines sea taking island that is not their rather focusing on their economy.
Man, SM Tianjin looks a bit depressing with little foot traffic due to its country's current economic recession. By its design alone, SM Tianjin would've and should've been a great looking mall built in the Philippines. I'm also noticing a lack of major public transportation in that area. I hope this SM Mall doesn't suffer the same fate as South China Mall.
