Beacon Hill Dolls house tour

- In this video I’m showing you my American dolls house the Beacon Hill and some of my cross stitch/tent stitched carpets and rugs for the dolls house…I will be doing my regular cross stitch update early October as I haven’t made enough progress on my projects just yet. Please feel free to leave me any comments and if you would like information on the patterns I used for the rugs let me know.

Very Nice! Extremely inspirational too! I have two houses in my basement, just collecting dust. I always thought that I would get around to eventually, yet there they sit, waiting patiently for me, with no complaints!😢 I'm now retired & have No excuse, I guess I'll just have to bring them upstairs! Thank You!😊
Thank you…I have quite a few kits in boxes too just waiting, maybe one day I’ll actually get around to making them but then I’m not sure where I’ll be able to put them😂🤦♀️

I don't have dolls inside of my doll's house but I'm totally enjoying your collection of men in a meeting in the parlour- so much STORY going on from: top to bottom.
And I must add as well, that the exterior brickwork facade and those beautifully painted wood trims look Fantastic- A truly wonderful treasure for sure!

Once had that kit house but I wasn't a good carpenter and it was given to a family member and I'm sure that they don't have it anymore and it might have been trashed. Love seeing your beautiful houses and fabulous little people.
Thankyou …yes I’ve given quite a few houses away over the years and they weren’t appreciated so I learned my lesson 😏I have other houses I need to sort out and film hopefully sooner than later🥰

This is amazing....I remember an article about this house in a Dollshouse magazine in around 1995. The occupants are an elderly lady and her brother, and some friends.
The previous owner's husband did the doorflaps on the back for her.
I am so glad to see the house is in loving , safe hands.

This is beautiful. I really like those rugs, I usually just made fabric rugs, hadn't thought of making them like that, although we don't have doll houses anymore, but do love them. ❤

Thank you. I don’t know how to add pictures to my comment 🤦♀but if you Google needlepoint 1 12th design by Felicity Price her book will come up. Then I used Making miniature oriental rugs by Meik and Ian Mcnaughton they have two books ones yellow ones green. And then the other book was Carpets and rugs by Sue Hawkins. Hope this helps I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to respond🥰
Dolls are more realistic than many I’ve seen wish spend a little more time in each room don’t think I like the lift up openings ? But it’s all lovely!
