Bought this when it first came out. The original came in a similar if not identical designed box with the flyer years ago as the fake 1. The performance was way better on the older design one also. Sad to see them change it. Look it up.
However clearly from the finishing its a fake.

The fake was selling at my place at USD 8 and authentic at USD 45. If u open the cap, u see inside, u can see the differences between fake and authentic. The smell almost same but authentic much last long and stronger. Because of the price wise, the fake one is more popular
Thank you for beware us, but for the record the fake one should compare to the same original Aqua 2005 because it has the same shape not like the other ( updated version ) which is released recently so it dose not has the same shape of the fake exactly

How to check if the batch code is right?mine doesnt have the E sign next to 100 ml. Also batch code 20154H1 looks so suspicious for my atlantiqve.
The original sold at my local Macys also says Bvlgari right on the glass bottle. As far as the labeling, it really depends on the year of the batch and the market you live in. It's more the quality of the packaging and glass/metal AND the actual juice that give away a fake.
Fakes copy the first batch of the authentics.

there are perfume stores that offer tester versions of the actual product. they are meant to be display testers. they will ask if its a gift, or for yourself. they are general 5 to 10 dollars cheaper than with the "original box". the stores are often called perfume depot and such. the bottles often say not to be sold, tester only. thanks again.

If it is a local store that is well known than it should sell authentic fragrances and carry authentic testers.

If you want to use Ebay or other websites of this format, look at the details of the pictures posted by the sellers in order to be sure you won't buy a fake.
This fragrance has troubled me for awhile now. I bought my first bottle from a guy in my neighborhood back in 2008. The one you call the fake is to my memory, the one I had. It smelled great back then and I wanted to get it again. Anyway, I guess I have a fake on the way. I hope it smells better than the samples I just tried. I was thinking it was reformulated. These type of videos have been brought to my attention before. You would think this type of bottle would be harder to counterfeit. -Adam Wisdom
Fakes copy the first aesthetic look pf the fragrance. This is why the fake I showed remembers you of the one you had.
Years down the line, designers change the aesthetics of the fragrance (font, text displayment, ingredients, etc).
Let me know when you get the one that is on the way. If it is a fake send it back and report the seller to your local authorities and Bvlgari as well.
@@tattoofun2003I received my 1.7oz Bvlgari Aqva in the mail today. Mine has Nordstrom price tags on the box and it is still in cellophane wrap. Based on this video, it looks similar to the fake in your video. If I don't see a batch code, would that be a red flag?

For you comfort, you should test the one you have with one deom a shop near you so you can confirm it is authentic.

Fakes usually go for the first version of the fragrance they copy. In time any fragrance is changed on aesthetics. This is why the current version of the fragrance does not look the same as the one from it's launch.

Not all fakes are the same. There are many fake manufacturers. Some look good but smell bad, some look bad and smell good or even some look bad and smell bad.

Fakes usually copy the first version released of a fragrance. That design in changed over time, Bvlgari Aqva is no exception. The authentic has been changed in aesthetics, it no longer has the original aesthetic.

The one of the right looks like the original release but upon closer inspection the quality of the printed letters is the first tell that it’s been copied.
They both are legit. U have the original bottle. It comes with a card aswell.

@@tattoofun2003the original release had BVLGARI on the top of the bottle. The box did not have the silver border yet. It is still legit. The smell should be better on the one you believe is ‘fake’.

Send/give it back to who sold it to you and inform your local authorities. Also inform Bvlgari on their official website about the fake and the location you bought it from.

Dont listen to this guy. He actually listed them the other way around. The one he's saying is fake is actually the real one and vice versa. Notice how the "fake" one actually says bvlgari at the top unlike the other one. If u dont trust me look at official pictures of it on their official website. I started noticing something was quite off when the fragrance i bought had an alcohol smell in the beginning and didn't last very long. I think this is the problem most people are having.....they probably bought it on ebay just like i did for less than 40 dollars. It actually goes around 80 to 90 dollars at Macy's or Dillard's. Do your research if you dont believe me.
