Nilfisk GM80: A look at the motor

  • Well...this is unexpected. I thought it would either be the large diameter Nilfisk made motor or an Italian Ametek but we have....something unfamiliar here.

    This is different motor than what I have. I have never seen motor like that. But it seems to get very nice cfm and suction numbers. I believe my GM80 is from the 90's.

      I have video called "Massive Motor In The Nilfisk GM80" There you can see how it looks. It might be made by Nilfisk because it's so strange.

      @@vacuumtests9225 Maybe, the flow is very similar to the 2100 watt motor you had do you recall what the suction was on that?

      @@Blackheartvacs Flow seems to be similar to the 2100w motor. I didn't measure suction when it was in the Nilfisk, but from my experience that motor is capable of creating over 100" of waterlift from the hose end.

    Nilfisk stopped makeing motors in 1997
