Nice camera work Joe, good to see close up how you handle the method and manage the work station. Thank you for putting our free quality content too. Times are hard and a lot of good anglers are inaccessible/unaffordable with subscriptions here there and everywhere.
I used to watch all your vlogs and get loads out of them, now I’m just watching your hands and a splash in the water. You had the format great, imo, last year. See what Jon Arthur does, he’s amazing with detail and content. All the best Joe 😊
Fair dues, I'm a bit the same, love fishing love fishing matches, dont care if I win, just enjoy it. Tight lines keep up with the great vidio. Brilliant insight on a top anglers thought process
Great video as always joe- not sure about the new preston catty's look as though they will fall apart- MU is like the QE2 wil take some turning but lets hope it finally happens - cheers
It just doesn’t interest me 😂 I enjoy my day to day fishing way too much. Last time I tried get in the finals it ruined my year. Fair play to the lads who can do it. But I enjoy my fishing too much to chase them 👍🏻
Great video Joe At least we got to see what you really do and what the result was. We can really see how you load the feeder in 2 stages, pushing the pellets into the feeder, then filling up the mould with pellets and adding hookbait last into the mould and heavily pressed together With pressing it so hard and having the hookbait in the middle effectively does this slow the breakdown and release of pellets making the wait time longer for bites? Cheers Mark
@@MatchFishingFilms Joe it is great to see the live match tactics as they are genuine Sometimes on TH-cam your contemporaries are just creating content to feed the beast, they say things like ‘I always use this product and do this method and all you need is 4 groundbaits to blend and 3 different types of pellets’ Then you see them fishing a match on their most favourite venue and actually do nothing of the sort….
Hi Joe, well done great match. I have a question regarding the peperami, what is the best way to present it (band, spike or quick stop) as I would like to give it a try. Thanks Tony
I just use it on a bayonet, it’s tough stuff 💪🏻 but you can quick stop it if you prefer. I have found the thicker bayonets are better such as the Preston ones 👍🏻
I’ve been catching loads this winter putting a firm base on that barely breaks down. I can’t put the hook bait in first as it gets trapped. So placing it just on top of that layer ensures it’s still deep but not trapped 👍🏻
That's why I don't like lake four its unfair with the island for just a few pegs, on most days it is the difference. well done anyway. being honest without the island chuck would you of won.
Great video Joe and a pleasure to listen to your easy going manner as always. Hope you can keep winning a bit during the closed season
Thanks 👍 glad you enjoy it

Well I’ve had that one a year and only just changed the elastic. Haven’t found anything better for pole fishing with pellets 🤟🏻
Super vidio Joe, time you got qualified and won fisho

Well fished Joe. Nice result. You are right though, the Pole not producing. Possibly fish not sure yet if winter has gone? Cheers
There was something going on with the air pressure last week as several places fished the same.
@@MatchFishingFilms Hence fish not on the bottom. Still cant beat a victory. Ha Ha
Well done mate 👏
Thanks 👍
Brilliant Joe, is that just the normal pepperami lol
Yea the green one.
Green woodpecker calling at 17.5 mins - I reckon the yaffler brought you luck. 57lb was a slight underestimation - only by 20lb 🤣. Well done.
Heavy buggers them fish and they didn’t look like chub 😂
Great fishing pal 👍
Thanks 👍
Well Done joe . Great watch who was the skyliner😮
Local chap Baz, good old boy 👍🏻
Really enjoyed the vidio joe keep them coming. Ps did you spike the meat for the method.
Yes a little bayonet. I’ve found the thicker gauge ones excellent for the rami
Nice video Joe 👍👍

I think I'm going to be doing a video on this as it's something a few anglers have pointed out :)

Nicely done! Do you ever use spicy pepperami or is it always the normal one?
I like the normal one but I’m sure the spicy would be excellent
Very good joe

how come youve changed the way you load the feeder from the way tom pickering does it, remember watching a vid you did about it?? thanks

Doubt it the fish wanted to be in shallow water 👍🏻
