Thank you for coming on over! They deleted the post right away, but that works out for everyone because the pool of eligible winners is now supper small.
Thank you so much for checking out my work!! it's such a fun world, silver stacking, I never thought I would have gotten to this level. Worth all the effort.
Thank you, I like to think of these pieces as grave goods, especially the knife in the background of the post. I think of these pieces being found in Anglo-Saxon graves, so I make them in a way that would be fitting to be laid to rest with high-status warriors.
@@greatlakesflyoutdoors1267 ah dude thank you! I am still in the process of buying some more tools and materials, figure I should be up and running soon, but I did just acquire my new 4k vid camera so all my vids here on will be of markedly better quality then the one I have up now... but anyways thanks for the subscribe, I appreciate it and am excited to see what new pours you got coming up.
@@AequalsMCMetals so excited for you, and I really appreciate your support. It means a lot when other artists reach out. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
Thanks for asking, there was a piece of wood inside the mold that helped make the eye of the axe head. When the hot silver filled the mold to the point that the wood was at; the wood and hot silver reacted causing it to boil and shoot out of the mold.
Thank you for coming over to check out my video, it means a lot. These big pieces are initially pricy to pour, not just in the silver weight but the cost of delft clay is something else. But once I saved up enough to make the investment, I have been able to make it into a rolling investment. With each pour I sell for well over spot, and reinvest in more silver. So, 20 ounces I bought in 2020, has evolved with each sale leading to the ability to buy over 200 ounces per year to smith and re-sell. I will sell this piece, but its hard because it is so unique. The handle is from a tree that fell on my house after a tornado, so I don't think I will ever be able to find a piece of wood with so much power behind it. Theres a local gold dealer near me that typically buys from me so I'll eventually sell it to them and buy more silver with the profit.
Lol, that would be true, but it was a random giveaway so one winner for each. But honestly, I would love to do that because it's kind of fun to make people's day.

I want to make one now
It actually wasn;t the hardest pour, having a big enough mold was helpful.
I was waiting for a suspicious looking watermelon to get chopped to pieces! Missed opportunity
Got to watch out for those shady werewolf-looking watermelons. That's exactly why I built this axe
Your work is really cool, I’m going to try something similar to prepare for the imminent vampire attacks.
@@nills2gills811 Thankk you, and vampire season is upon us so being prepared is crucial to survival, lol.
Wow, this is wild. How much does it weigh, it looked like 26 ounces?
Yup, 26.6 ounces
Why did the silver come spilling out for the mold?
Thanks for asking, there was a piece of wood inside the mold that helped make the eye of the axe head. When the hot silver filled the mold to the point that the wood was at; the wood and hot silver reacted causing it to boil and shoot out of the mold.
Came from Reddit. Interesting video, I can’t afford to do this with silver but have been getting into copper. Are you planning to sell this?

You won the Morgan, if you want to send me a message on Reddit with your information, I'll send it out Friday, Cragts!
Going to be a poor man if you really give away an ounce and a Morgan for each comment and like!
Lol, that would be true, but it was a random giveaway so one winner for each. But honestly, I would love to do that because it's kind of fun to make people's day.
You won the 1 ounce silver bar, send me your info and I will send it out Friday, congradualations!
