Absolutely a great set of clips. I'm far from "experten" but have flown combat flight sims since the Air Warrior on Genie days. I was part of the 1st training cadre on Aces High when it 1st started. +Sheriff's Sim Shack Thank you so much, I used Track IR back in Aces high (10 years ago) so I am somewhat aware of the issues involved. I never did really get a profile I liked and kept going back to hat views...but AH was much more adjustable (or so it seems) for that with each plane having a separate view profile in the game (not aware of that in war thunder)...Certainly gives me a starting point:)
Thanks for the great video and tips. Are using head tracker IR or VR? You are very good at keeping track of the enemy. I seem to lose them even if they're right in front of me
Gunnery is my vote. Focusing on the last few seconds before firing (SB/joystick perspective would be appreciated). Small adjustments somehow become erratic for me.
Please do the gunnery :D especially deflection shooting. I really need to know how to do it. Because it's hard to make heavy damages on enemy right from behind it when you have cannons on the wings, so i always try to do deflection shooting, but yea, most of the attemps failed.
wisnu1231 I agree, it could be that your gun convergance is too far for your aicraft so instead of hitting the aircraft, your shots are flying to it's left or right. I recommend either nose mounted guns such as russians and germans or lowering convergances to around 100-200 metes
great vid. what about this situation. You are in spit behind enemy BF109. Enemy initiates scissors. Can you counter that just by throttling down? BTW those scissors sometimes look like balet. Very nice
Just a question if you or anyone else wants to answer: How do i best avoid those "stallturns", ie when one wing gets to much lift and the plane flips over. Happens at low to semi high speeds in hard turns, and even though I'm getting better at avoiding it and countering it with rudder, it seams to happen at times when I'm really not prepared and feel like it's odd, meaning i feel like i have control and get no "warning" before it happens (usually you feel it coming). Any idea what i might do wrong? I mean it's just a bit irritating when you're on someones 6 and have to realign yourself, but when you flip the plane at the bottom of a smaller dive or a split S, it gets a bit more of a real problem.
I would like to ask your opinion sir, Its about the "Glorious Russian Yak-3". It is a nice fighter plane that far much i understand, but do you think that this fighter could really turn with the more agile(should be) Ki-43 Otsu? I mean, I've been fighting Yak3s and they turn with my Ki-43 at high energy state, turned so tight that they dont break their stalinium wooden wing, and when they start to slow turn with the Ki-43 even with deployed flaps im suprise to see these Yaks turns easily with it and most of the time the Hayabusa starts to roll spin first, I even use gravity to help me turn in addition with low altitude thick air. Sadly the Ki-43 dont have propeller pitch controls so its down to toggling my flaps to undeployed-combat sometimes combat-take off, still this Yaks confidently turns, even if i can pull a lead on them I can only fire like 2-4 shot and shake me off aiming line which is already wobbly. Plus the climb rate and speed retention of Yak3 is monstrous as comparison to the 43, How come a very light wooden wing fighter can mount a very powerfull engine on its airframe? What is your opinion about this sir?
Many thanks for this Sheriff (& I REALLY like your choice of Intro/Outro music too!! {:o)In heat of battle I'll TRY to remember as much as I can of this.

+Kovács “CoLoS576” Róbert There is no default. In most planes of war thunder, with the prop pitch setting you choose the desired RPM of the engine. Hello Sherrif! you have really great videos and tutorials.I have some request for you sir, I would like to do videos myself but really bad in making video and really don't have the material to do so, might as well ask someone with more experience with the best experties. So, I usually fly german planes in EC rank 3, but recently I stummbled upon something very disturbing to me on the Japanese side of EC, esspecially on the map of Zhengzhou. This map use to be Japanese vs Russian only but since Fire Arrow been implemented Gaijin had decided to add in USA and Britain in that map an as a result "Bomber Whoring"(as I call it) has been infesting Zhengzhou's map. They are taking advantage of slow combustable Japanese plane to feed thier mouse aim gunnery bombers and as a result there is a massive allied bomber spamming in that map. What bothers me the most is these "Bomber Whores"(not that i hate bombers i even love the B-17) claims that thier gunnery kills are as the same quality as fighter dogfighters kills and calling all japanese pilots are noobs. Sadly, part of it are true, most of Japanese fighter pilots often fall victim to 50cals incendiary or the no overheat 20mm russian MG. Most of these pilots does not know how to attack a bomber or when not to attack a bomber as a result certain defeat for the Japanese lightly armored planes at the same time feeding these bomber whores and encouraged them to keep doing it. I've done all I can in rank 3 EC by doing bomber hunting only missions with my Ki-102 and it seems to subside and move on to rank 4 to do the same. Still I see the same case where it is even worse where the Russian also spamming the Peshka-8 that have the same durability and fireproof of a B-17. I would like to request a video to tell these Japanese players not to feed these Bomber whores and instead kill them in the correct way with the right plane and when not to engage them. I hope you sir could fly on the Japanese side in EC rank 3-4 to see it for yourself. Thanks! I'll keep watching your video :)

+PowderedMonkey nah I fly both regularly and its easy to make a "judgement" from two clips out of the entire tutorial. Both shots were total different storys. My opponent was solid in my convergence and was hit on the left wing. The Fw190 was a good bit below me and was prophanging. its likely that he had trouble to get his aim stable. He was only hitting my tail when I remenber correctly. If find german 20mm at least on par.
+CookieZombiZ still better as to turn after the first plane and to get killed against somebody you cant see. And he was hanging on the prop which makes shooting kinda difficult. But hey you dont want to hear this anyway so why i bother.

I absolutely love you. Rest assured that this is extremely helpful... the best out there, not doubt
Good video, but I think there could be more emphasis on the goals of the exercise like scissor fight. In my opinion I think that the goals in scissor fight are probably something like this.
1. survival - dodge the incoming gun attack
2. decrease chances of enemy attacks by your own manouvering
3. neutralize the enemy's angle advantage (enemy atttacked you originally from 6 which is means enemy has positional advantage and possibly energy advantage). Neutralization of enemy's angular advantage means that you will try to get the enemy to overshoot basically. (overshooting means that the enemy goes in front of your own "3-to-9-line" which is like a mental line, across your own wingtips, obviously the numbers mean the clock positions.
4. conserve energy if possible.
5. gain gunshot opportunities against the enemy
Oftentimes I think many people are very impatient and want quick solution, how to get the enemy from the 6 o'clock etc... This is actually very bad situation in most fighters when the fight starts with the enemy behind you. But properly flown scissor fight including good throttle control can often cause you to survive attacks.
teamplay video 4v4 and 2v4 and 1v2 and 2v2 air combats would be nice video subjects, especially from the numbers disadvantage point of view.
Manual engine control would be great.

+Broncosoft its a premium Spitfire. They send spitfires to the USA. In a limited amount of course.
you should have a live flightschool , too bad you can´t host private servers..
Gunnery!
i have a 109F4 and i cant check my six, because theres an armor behind the pilot. How can i fly like my enemyes if i cant check my six?! Please help me😫
and again a 109 disintegrated in one pass, while the spit survived 2 3 hits of 20mm from the 190....mmmm ok.....
'Nobody can attack me here'
*Getting shot 3-4 times*
'I can choose when to attack'
*Shell RIGHT THROUGH cockpit*
*Almost gets killed*
+CookieZombiZ still better as to turn after the first plane and to get killed against somebody you cant see. And he was hanging on the prop which makes shooting kinda difficult.
But hey you dont want to hear this anyway so why i bother.
Nothing against the video, its just the irony that got me laughing
Thanks for the tips
alright! Cheers!
