As a fan of this show from almost its beginning, this "Mom" routine cracked me up more than any comedy they presented. The sketches in the short-lived New York show with Ivy Austin were also brilliant. In the 80's and 90's I never failed to tune in every Saturday at 6pm Eastern. Toward the end of its run the writing mostly sleep-walked along and I mostly gave up on it. The "Me Too" terror caught up poor old Keillor and his wonderful contribution to radio and Americana was ruthlessly air-brushed out of existence by today's equivalent of the Red Guard. Maybe he should have voted Republican all those years.
Sue Scott is amazing!
When she says, "A mother is never happy.", even Keillor started to laugh.

Wonderful! Absolutely perfect!
I love how she almost completely loses it at 3:15 when she advises “they need a shepherd”....
We had so much fun those days, indeed !!
A mother is never happy!
Dwayne's Dad reminds me of... me.
Hank is exactly everyone's dad. Men of few words. Rather chatty in this one!
Lol...
A restaurant recently opened nearby called Hubert House.
It's so unusual to see them. For years I just imagined all of them. Mom is so funny
I'm turning into Mom!
This is the kind of mother that I am determined NOT to be.
🤣😆😂
