I am so sorry that you have to go through surgery. The surgeon will be able to tell you the precaution.
I cover the anti-inflammatory diet in details in back home self-treatment program. Typically After back surgery pain caused by scar tissue, fascia restrictions and inflammation. In order to treat the root cause of your pain you will need to work on superficial/ deep scar tissue, superficial/ deep fascia restrictions and inflammation simultaneously.
