Thanks for the visit, glad you enjoyed it! Some more background from a LASK-fan: Regarding pronounciation, you already nailed it at 1:08 - it's quite simply "LASK". What you heard from the fan chant was "Forza A-S-K" - this chant uses just the ASK part of the club name and stands for "Athletik-Sport-Klub" (Athletics Sports club), the "L" standing for "Linzer". So you can either say "LASK" (like at 1:08) or "Linzer A-S-K" (similar to Grazer AK, which are G-A-K in short). And the fanzine you got was a bargain for 2 pounds :D It's not a matchday programme, but rather the 10-years anniversary magazine of the fan collective "Landstrassler" - the ones with the big banner on the ultras stand. They've really come a long way, from basically 50 active members back in 2014 (3rd league, non-league football level) to what you witnessed yesterday. Definitely consider going to the Linzer Derby one day - however, getting tickets for the game at the Blau-Weiß stadium is close to impossible due to their tin box capacity of only 5000 and 100% of tickets being sold exclusively to club members. So i guess, you'll have to check out the "Gugl" (as we fans call the LASK stadium) again ;)
@@FIFALetsPlayer ahh I’m glad I had it right the first time! That chant definitely confused me a bit! It is amazing to see the rise of the club since the promotion never mind what you’ve been saying before. It was a very nice stadion and I did have a great time but those ticket prices were crazy
@@oliverha74 In an ideal world it would’ve been for Strum or BW but this was the game I went to before the Wien derby as an extra treat. Would definitely be up for returning for a bigger game one day tho
Don't know if you would be up for it but highly recommend going to watch FC Nurnberg in Germany. Their fanbase is insane and they have a 50,000 capacity stadium in the 2. Bundesliga. One of the most underrated teams to go and watch.

@@the_footballtouristYeah it was a very weird goal Xd I have to admit we currently lack a smaaaaaaall bit when it comes to Fan Support, also at home games. It's not bad by any means but it could definetly use a little bit more "fire". I mean we had a whole Comeback story as the club got relegated 17 years ago and went bankrupt in 2012. The Fans re-established the club and we had to start again from the last austrian divison. The club regained all the rights to the "old" one so the year of foundation is still 1902 and the titles won in the past still belong to the club.
