Do you think you can niche down too far? I know my audience really well and I know exactly who they are. My worry is that maybe it’s too small of a niche. Because it’s specifically CrossFiters so it’s already a niche within the fitness niche. Then I’m specifically targeting the women like me in larger bodies just trying to do CrossFit to better their health and for fun with a body positivity/self acceptance angle.
When you were saying “it pushes content out to audiences of similar profiles” it made me think there really aren’t any similar profiles at all. Especially not big ones. I wonder if I should broaden my niche wider than CrossFiters.

Hey Jade! I would appreciate if you'd help me out with a question:) I have been binge watching your videos and I think I am almost ready to start posting! However, my audience is complicated, so I struggle with choosing hashtags. I create art about spirituality but my content/art is also about the troubles that come with my healing journey such as adhd, relationships etc. I find it hard to determine my key hashtags. Will it be successful to use: 1) #artist #spirituality and #adhd in each post (or is this to various), 2) use #adhd or #narcisism only when relevent to that post, or 3) sticking to basic hashtags like #paint and #art overall. (I am slightly worried that those won't reach my target audience) what do you suggest?? Sorry if it's complicated, I tried to explain it haha. Thank you in advance! Your video's are so helpful

Hi Jade, I don’t know if this even works anymore. My content has been good then suddenly about 100 likes per post and no followers see my posts anymore or new audiences. It has been for a few months and I cannot grow no matter what I do. I just lose followers and I see this happens a lot with others. What do you suggest? I’m not shadowbanned or anything. I stopped dyeing my hair and am transitioning to gray. There is a huge silver haired community. My audience seems like it would be clear, but feels like it is filled with creeper guys and bots. IG knows what my account is about, but the audience is not what I want. The best way I can think to shift my audience is by having a private account, including my husband more in posts... This information is so helpful! But what about accounts that were growing for months and just recently has seen a huge drop in engagement. My content hasn't changed; however my reach went from 10k+ to less than 1k. :/ I haven't violated any guidelines, and it's extremely frustrating.
Do more things to capture attention. Do more reels. Add cuts. Do analytics research of who is watching and cater to them. learn how to maximize descriptions. The algorithm changes often, you need to change often as well.

That’s what I struggle with a lot and idk if that hurts or helps my account with the algorithm by having them following me? I don’t engage with them at all or follow them back and I always find legit real people to interact with but the spam accounts come out of nowhere it seems 😕
Hello! I'm not Jade but I'm a social media manager so I can help you. I have a client who had the same issue. A lot of dms and comments with fake accounts and spams. The reason why, it was because of his hashtags. Usually, the scammers goes to some # and comment on the posts. Maybe it's your case. You need to find if they are comming trought any #, usually the most trendy. Having fake people following you will affect the algorithm, YES! Because you need to have a true audience and Instagram will detect that you have ghost followers and assume that if they are not interacting is because they don't like your content. It's always good to keep away ghost followers, those who don't interact, because there are a lot of accounts with 1000k and only 100 of them engages with the content. So, try to find the # that they are comming from, if you have any and clean up. You can always contact and hire me to manage your social media/business. How do you identify your target audience?
Hello. If google has ready-made targeting solutions, why do you need a targeted ad specialist?
I've seen these Stories where people want to 'play with the algorithm' and start to repost their followers who answer on that story. The result is bunch of meaningless Stories for that day.
So I'm wondering is that have at least any benefits for the algorithm engagement of these creators? Or the result is only to get the others bored.
But how do identify and speak to Your audience on IG that’s the key how do you do that?

Hello! I'm not Jade but I can anwser you. You need to know the best hour to your own audience. Because there is no recipe. You need to check and track the metrics, Instagram event tolds you the hours that your audience is most online/active, and the days. For some of my clients their audience are more active at 10am. This depends on your own audience. You can post whenever you want, but to make sure that you get more reach you should know when your followers are moslty active. You can see in the insights but if you can't find it you can always search on Google! Also there are days when people are moslty off, for example friday. But that doesn't applies for all of us. I’ve recently learned to check your insights on your IG page. Check the followers tab and it’ll tell you the times of the different days your followers are most engaged, and that’s the times you post. If they makes sense

Get specific with your target… are they Foodies who like to travel & love plants? Are the black women who love fashion & travel Etc? Do they drink coffee or wine or water? Once you figure that out you can use relevant #s to attract them. Make reels on IG to attract your TA…have fun & try different things to see what works Hope this helps!💜
