I personally wouldn't consider the hex a con. An adjustable lever or locking mechanism can break over time. With the hex keys, I never use the ones provided anyway and just use a screwdriver with a hex bit which is something a lot of people have or something someone can pick up fairly cheap to use on multiple items or projects. I consider it a plus over something that could break.
Interesting but indeed this is a big assembly. Some landscaping will be required to put this in front of a house. Also cannot support gouging on the exchange rate at this extent.
Thanks for another great review, Erin. If you mentioned it I missed it (I watched your video twice) but can this unit be wall mounted? The base appears to be adjustable in the description on Amazon but it's hard to tell how sturdy it is in the pictures and what range of motion it has.
That’s a great question! To be honest the adjustable base where you out the steaks in could technically have screws go through it if you don’t put the steaks. So could this be rigged to be mounted? I think yes.
Can’t wait to get mine! 🙌😁

Nice! I didn’t think of it that way.
Cool! 👍🏻 Thanks for sharing Erin! Have an awesome day!
Thank you! You too!

I did mention it, super briefly, but yes. If you didn’t attach the two stakes, you could totally attach these to a wall using the base bracket.
Is the controller still not waterproof?
