It depends. In Shanghai for example, the generation of (men) born in the 50s, 60s, 70s, all can cook well. The younger generation can hardly cook and often go out to eat or order online lol.

Yes, Manipur, Nagaland and all the states in Northeast India eat bamboo shoots.. Its part of our culture.. We have alot of similarities with the Chinese, even the way vegetables are cooked. You should come visit 😊

it's very common in China that the husband do the housework, such as cook, daily food shopping, take care the children, clean the house etc.
This is not the tradition chinese culture. It's started tradition revolution since CCP ruled the China. CCP promoted social equality that hunsban and wife share the housework. Free the women from housework. The women don't have to change her last name as the husband.
The income of house maids are high nowaday. The everage maids income is higher than college degree graduates Now, most of young couples are unaffordable to hire house maid. Most of house maids are hired by senior for health reason and taking care the seniors.

The video shows just a bit of the day. Mil visits only once a year and at other times, I have to work a lot at home with no house help. But I still consider myself blessed. I can work from home now.

Bamboo shot is very popular delicacy in Northeast India. Raw bamboo shot has time/season but fermented bamboo shot is available throughout the year and it is good to cook with every meat and vegetable. I always have fermented bamboo shot in my kitchen.

You can add Bamboo shoot in chicken, pork, fish, pickles or normal vegetables like chattny, or can be cook with patato.

Yummy bamboo shoot.. Popular in north east india. We Assamese make pickles frm it which is popularly known as 'Kharisa'. We even use it in chicken curry, fish curry.

Bamboo shoot is easily available in tropical weather region of india like north east .we used to chop the bamboo shoot mix it with masala and let it to be fermented for couple of months and after that it tastes great.

Reading comments here I came to know that bamboo shoot is eaten many places in India. I thought that only we northeastern eat bamboo shoot. In China foods are eaten with the help of stick that's why vegetables should not be broken while cooking.

Bamboo shoots are eaten all over eastern India. Its available only during rainy season when Bamboos sprout. its better to soak them in water for a day to develop better taste then you can make or cook them with some vegetables. Also, you can make spicy pickles. its crunchy and tasty too.
Bambooshoot is eaten in northeast and eastern part of India. It is available both fresh and dry mostly found in the mountainous terrain during the rainy season. It is eaten in chutney, pickles and as a vegetable too.

Edit : one more thing people say Chinese people have bad habit of spitting in the open on the streets, roads etc have you observed this fact if they spit then how can their cities be called clean but i saw chinese roads and streets super clean plz let me know this too ma'am
I am going to Jilin in 3 days to our hometown. Even though it is a small farming town, the infrastructure is awesome. I will make videos but probably will publish them late as I am temporarily demonetized . Someone hacked into my adsense account from Israel. 😕

I'm from India (northeast) and we love bamboo shoot so much so that we make pickles, ferment it,dry it n store it for off seasons n cook fresh bamboo shoot with pork and sometimes dry fish as well...I love it..
Nokanchi Momin Amazing, China does the same, fried pork with bamboo shoots. It will also be dried and stored.

In North East it is eaten as curries, made pickles. Also fermented and called "soibum"
