I am so happy for you. I remember thinking how selfless it was of you to walk away from the former house with Jon, and how difficult that must have been....but seeing you here in this house now, and seeing how calm and peaceful it is, it is just so lovely. Everything has worked out the way it was meant to.
I am so happy for you Janni. After all the challenges you’ve faced these past years and all the moving around, I am happy that you found a place to grow your “roots” near your family ❤️ I can’t wait to see how you’ll transform your home and wish you all the very best!!
TH-cam is my favorite format to watch 'content' also... it's a lot more fun and personal and not 'fast consuming' like Insta and TikTok. Hoping we get to see way more of you on here again
Don't blame you getting help with editing - I love TH-cam too and so glad to hear you say you do. Please do tons more blogs as you are one of my favourite bloggers and can't wait to see that Christmas tree and things will have settled more too - you are going in the right direction. xx
The house looks great! As soon as you showed the dining room and the living room I said, 'That is so Janni'. I think it's your signature look for a house. Chic, modern, yet simplistic. I love the neutral tones. I like those in my house as well. Can't wait to see all of the renovations that you have planned.
So happy for you Janni! ❤ I really love how you are excited and appreciate the little things in life - when it’s a cup of coffee or a kitchen table hahah, it always resonates with me because I know it’s genuine and I am the same… Have a wonderful Sunday!
Agree with everyone about the rug; something much bigger will be nicer. I think rectangular or circular will work. I also think it could be nice to bring some color in because the walls etc are all white
Well done on getting that bed together - allen keys and me hate each other!! You have got the house round so fast. Love the fluffy rug too. I didn't even notice what tower it was - who cares? Honestly. How on earth did they notice that? I was too excited to see the new house to notice details. You are happy that is the main thing. I have moved on from a 19 year relationship this year and the freedom is so amazing and no moods or tantrums from my ex anymore and I can relax and be myself - the best and have time for me and not be on edge. I would be on that balcony day and night - so gorgeous - lights for sure.
For a round light oak dining table, I'd recommend a rug that enhances the warmth of the wood while providing a bit of contrast or texture to anchor the dining space. Here are a few options that would work beautifully: Round Rug: Matching the shape of the table with a round rug creates a cohesive look. Aim for a rug that’s at least 2-3 feet larger than the table diameter so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. Natural Fiber: If you like a more organic vibe, consider a jute or sisal rug in a neutral color. The earthy texture pairs well with oak and feels inviting, while keeping the look airy and light. Soft Pattern: Subtle patterns, like a tone-on-tone geometric or vintage-inspired print, add interest without overwhelming the space. Look for soft, neutral colors like beige, muted greys, or light blues that complement the light oak. Layered Textures: For a more eclectic look, try layering a soft, slightly patterned rug over a natural fiber base rug. This adds depth to the design while still feeling harmonious with the natural look of oak. The goal is a balance of style and function, ensuring the rug isn’t too bold but offers enough texture or contrast to make the dining area feel inviting and well-curated!
Agree, rug looks weird, maybe a bigger one thats stiff like you said or square one. Its too small. You dont have too much clothes, you need a bigger closet 😉 Looking forward to the reno vlogs. Sending love to you and the kids ❤❤❤
Loving the house ❤⭐️🌻🌲⛅️🌈 sending with ❤ hope u can fix a low handrail on the stairs soon they are so steep 🫣😅❤ with a wall right at the bottom - loving the colours you have chosen 🤩 thank you for the cozy tour
This gives me casa castle vibes like in every matter. You are back and I really enjoyed this vlog. Felt it when you said thay live gets in between. I guess everyone with kids can relate 😅 happy autumn!
The table is gorgeous! I agree with you about the rug. I think the rug is too small and thin for that area. You’re going to make that house so beautiful!
"Now I'm going to give the kids some attention," after a long day. You are a great Mom. Doing your best and staying beautiful as always. I wish you the greatest happiness - and clean white rugs 4ever, Brave Girl!
❤ ahaha “this is not the Eiffel Tower” lol so good.. you are looking amazing as usual. Love the wood furniture.. Gives the space an earthy/organic feeling that is definitely cozy, light, and warm
You look so happy Janni. This calmer lifestyle really suits you so much more. We can see it. And yes, that rug below the round table is definitely too small and also not practical when you have to slide the chairs over it.
Love the open floor plan, so light and airy. Love your furniture and what you plan to do with the house in the future. Sorry, but you asked....no to the dining room rug 😁 Best of luck with your new, beautiful, amazing home :)
I love the new house and all the furniture! I’m so excited for you and the kids🤗 I’m not an expert, but I think the rug under the dining table needs to be bigger. It almost shrinks the space. And I agree with you, stiffer too lol.
Congrats Janni, it's a beautiful house and im sure with the renovations it will be even more perfect. Im so happy that you feel happy to start vlogging again, and that you are smiling again 💓, not that you stopped smiling but you know..😉 Your kids are so cute 💞 You ladies, you and your sister are so beautiful and charming. I always feel inspired after seeing you and your sister. Sending love ❤❤
It looks so cosy!💕Imagine how Christmas decorations will look like in that wonderful house with a view! 🥰 I would go for a slightly larger round carpet for the round table, in a darker shade, perhaps brownish if you like that.
Wow you have done so much. Yes porch cut back and let rug settle but maybe a bigger circle in natural fibre. Love brown couch and children's. I am into brown too - softer for blondes. Love the view and I live near a town centre in a very old house with beams but lovely views of trees etc at the back and it felt like home straight away and still is 11/12 years on.
Get a bigger carpet for the dining table. Thumb of rule for a dining table carpet is that all chairs need to still be on the rug when pulled out. People normally get too small rugs so when in doubt, get a bigger one.
As a mom, I would say rugs underneath a table just make life so much more work. You have to vacuum them and sometimes the get sucked in vacuum. Also, need to worry about stains, etc. Since table is in the center of a large space and not in a room, I think no rug would work best and easy clean up. Gorgeous home ❤
dream house ❤ yes I think so too, the rug doesn‘t fit the dining table. maye a bit bigger one? the vacuum cleaner is just real life, no need to apologize in your videos for living your life, we all have an use a vacuum cleaner 😂 ❤ 🥰
definitely a larger carpet under the table will be better. maybe more rectangular or square? For 11 years I've always watched you decorate your interiors in every place and look forward to more videos from your new home ❤
I love that you love filming for youtube. I hate seeing all creators move to tiktok and I'm not fan of that platform at all. So happy to see you post on here :) The house will look so nice, I can feel it already _)
I LOVE the house Janni, SO happy for you 😭❤️ such an accomplishment, you’ve come a long way… ✨ I have to admit, the beautiful living room seems a little not aligned in my eye 😢 maybe the brown couch or the rug? Maybe bigger coffee table or just add 1 more of what you have, it’s a bit small for the big room. Seems a little all over the place for me, BUT that is super subjective! You do YOU ❤
I'm loving the ironic and fun way you talk about things, please keep it upI❤😂 And I think you should have a much larger round rug on the dining table, the one you have there now looks weird because it cuts into the table and chairs too much.
You don't have too many clothes if you enjoy them. I have a rail and boots and trainers in wicker baskets underneath. I don't have a lot of bags only the current and 2 spares and use canvas bags for shopping. Why are people so critical it is your life to do as you want and you have good taste so sure you will.
All the furniture and the hose looks so stunning so far Janni!! I do think that the carpet under the dining table is too small though, usually they say that the rule for that is that the rug needs to be big enough so that if you pull out the chairs to it in them all the chair legs need to still be on the carpet 💕
On rug dilemma - just an honest reference to the video I recently watched on YT by Caroline Winkler called "How to pick the right furniture + decor for your home" and there she has some great tips on choosing the rug!
Gorgeous House! Thank you for sharing with us. Could we get a closet tour because I was saying “wow” at the tv every 5mins seeing the sparkly heels and clothes🎀🩷 I can’t wait to see Christmas videos. Not sure if you ever have done vlogmas but that would be so cute 🥰 xo
I agree, the round carpet is too small for the table.
I was gonna say the same much to small for the table. it looks off. nothing to do with stiffness but more to do with size.
I have not seen you this happy since Casa Castle. Enjoy the future cosy and happy moments in your new home x
I am so happy for you. You seem soooo happy. 🧡💛💚💙 The furnishings look amazing as well! Such a chic yet cozy style. Really happy for your new chapter. Congrats, Janni! 🏡🪑🛋♥
Thank you!! 🥹❤️
You look more refreshed and glowing!!!! You look happy Janni! So happy for you!

Love your house and how you decorate it🥰.Perhapse a bigger square cream color rug would fit under the round table😍
Thank you! 🥹 Yes I was thinking about a square and tried to google pictures but still think a bigger round rug would look the best! But not sure 😩
@@JanniDeleryes round bigger and brown for contrast
@@JanniDeler I think you will figure something that looks amazing, you have such nice taste in interior🥰

Good to see her taste within her home, what's more is that it's not a 'palace.' It's a home.
A fluffy rug does make it more cozier. What a place!
The house looks beautiful! You do too Janni 🩷
Thank you ☺️❤️

Yes 100%, this table deserves a nice big rug under it! 😅
Hahaha exactly, the closet is just too small! 😏❤️
The living room is a dream! All is lovely and cozy! Enjoyy!❤❤❤

ooooooo yipppeeee a sunday breakfast med janni how cool and spot on time .. its all coming along lady so exciting kramar tc uk xxxx
Janni is sooo attractive personality ...
You might want to add a pop of color somewhere, anywhere, to go with all the neutrals. A pattern would help too.
Janni your house looks amazing! I think a much larger rectangle rug would look amazing against the beautiful curved table!
What a lovely new place to live❤
Enjoy every moment in the new house and make great memories 💫
Thank you for this video 🧡
I agree the rugg doesent make the tabel a favour!
I know, right?? 😩
Yeah, bigger would look nicer!
also not round and dark (dark brown ?) woul look nice in contrast to the floor
I think the round table needs some bigger/ longer rectangular carpet, so there is a contrast between furniture and carpet.
No,round is good but a bit bigger would be better.
The rug is too small.
So beautiful. The house is nice too.

Så fint hem du har skapat! Och så mysigt att följa din resa! 😍
❤❤❤❤❤ love to see you super happy ❤😊
I think the rug under the table make the area look smaller ………the house is amazing
I spy with my little eye.. A hockey match in the background at the end there 😊
Congrats on creating a beautiful home for your family!

That shining part make me laugh
Hey Janni! The table is perfect. How big is ist? 120 cm or 160 cm?
Keep on going up , well done 🎉
Love it 🤩🤩🤩
Wish you would link all the things you mentioned 👌
love a layered rug: put a super large natural sisal round rug under that rug, in the dinning area and voilà! --cozy-gorgeous!
Great Video ☺️can you please send the link of the ikea plant? Thank you☺️
You sound happy.
“You are shining” literally she did, that was so funny. Love the furniture but the table rug is not the one. Have a great weekend!!
Hi where did u buy both living room rugs I've been looking for awhile and I love the patterned one you removed.
Can i ask where did u get this cool mirror? Xoxo 😍
Lovely home! Where is the mirror from?
you need a set of Y-Stol insted thats danish designe :) the valnød is like 10.000 kr danish pr. stol
FINALLY!
Hello Janni, we have tendency to choose carpets too small. A bigger one will be perfect.
Nice table! Did you go for the 125cm or 160cm diameter?
Went for the 160cm 😍
Dear Janni, once again, the house is perfect 🥰 and please, that rug isn't ok, please remove it, dining table is really beautiful 😍
