Great job recording and performing Rebeccas song. She didnt die. Shes from Toronto he from Florida. He never thought it would be so successful so never gave her credit. Bought it on the street went back and told his band he wrote it at 16. This is like a scene from a rock movie. He better give her song writing credits

@bereberebere1995 there can be truth to that. I think it might be related to the fact that when they're on drugs, their lives can suck, and that puts them in a place to sing from the soul. Now, he's sober, making tons of money, has a family... there's no more pain to sing about, you know?

It's amazing how cd production hides all imperfections in someone's voice. He has a very powerful,but on way on the cd's ballpark. He should breathe more.....before he sings. If you are a singer, you know what I'm talking about.
So much better back then. Sure Brent is healthier now, taking better care of his voice and all. But in the process hes lost something. Just doesn't have that feel that these older performances did. Yes, they sound amazing now but its not what it once was.

He sounds like it, touch of a southern accent in there. But Shinedown was formed in Jacksonville Florida, hardly the south.
