  • A Lazy Susan is a fun gift or project as we head into the holidays. We can use epoxy for this craft project, the same way we do for our countertops, showers, etc.
    This would be a beautiful centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. These Fall colors are a real work of art! If you've been watching videos but not done a project yet, this is a great place to start!

    I literally just made a lazy susan earlier this week with a spare wooden round form I had in my shop as a “practice” to a table top order. Love all of your ideas!

    Love this lazy susan! And for once I actually liked it without the gold veins. I think I would like to add the gold bling in with the rest of the colors incorporated. Swirled in, the gold would be really pretty. Can’t wait to try it out!! 👍👏💝

    I love your teaching technique! Can you address how you finish the reverse side of projects like this one -- or those where the back can be seen. Or... if this already addressed in another tutorial - please point me in that direction.

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are many ways to address the drips. We grind them with a 50 grit grinding disc then smooth with 220. If you’ll be able to see the underside. We will paint a color that complements the finish. 😊

    That is beautiful.?for you the primer and paint you recommend for a concrete countertop before using the epoxy?

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You really need to make sure before you decide to pour on concrete that it wasn’t sealed with a wax or silicone based sealer. The epoxy will never stock even with a primer. Also make sure there’s no moisture in the concrete. I would use XIM bonding primer.

    • @jadevargas4213
      @jadevargas4213 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RK3Designs thanks the concrete countertops is new and the moisture is gone from it and I was thinking of the behr paint and primer in 1.

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would put a bonding primer first then the PP. I use XIM.
