I own a Hero Honda CBZ and have been thinking of buying a new bike for a looong time - I guess the wait was just worth it.
I also own a 2008 cbz xtream, there's no joy of riding bs6 bike s , if u want to purchase go for it but keep the cbz as a spare bike never make a mistake of selling it. It's a great bike
I think hero has done a fantastic job by launching the mavrick 440 . The design looks very nice. In fact compared to the Harley Davidson X 440 this bike looks proportionate from every angle. sure the mavrick misses out the fancy USD front forks and TFT display but apart from that it looks premium and sporty like a proper roadster should be. Thier is one thing they could have done nicely and that's hiding the cables around the right side area of handle bar . It sticks out too much. Other wise the mavrick looks like a well put together bike .
If i want to choose between the Harley and the hero my choice is the hero . At the end of the day both are similar bikes but the mavrick gives us a similar Big bike experience at a reasonable price .
I like the base version with spoke wheels, Wish Hero could have given tubeless spoke wheels as an option.😁. Can't wait to test ride this hero .

we should appreciate Indian bike companys for making efforts in higher cc engine bikes, I know this bike is not perfect but atleast companies are trying something new 🙌it's the beginning of new era...
they should have used circular part in speedo for RPM and rest of the part for digital part
Noticed something weird with his unit, it doesn't seems to be having diamond cut finish front alloy as its a top trim of mavrick.
However, overall loved this bike.❤❤
Nice engine with top speed of arround 155 kmph and full of torque.❤❤
I'm 5.3" will it be suitable for me? Another option I'm having is Suzuki Gixxer 250. I not much of a rider I will be using it for regular commutes and occasional weekend rides.

The wiring should have been tucked more cleanly and the rear looks so out of proportion. And Im not getting what is so intelligent in leaving the space on left handle rather that would have been utilised

Its should be more bulky looks like dominar in 400cc segment.
Hero should launch more bikes in 400cc segment
Base version without tubeless tyres is of no use. You can not even move such heavy bike when you have a flat tyre and it doesn't make any sense to have tube tyres for such premium bikes..

Hero have 125cc engines,so,it should fuse 2 125cc engines and make a 250cc parallel twin like autoengina did,with bigger oil cooler to cool the engine.
Benelli,Kawasaki already have parallel twin 25cc bikes,then why I dian manufacturers are still hanging to these single cylinders....
They should give the taste of twin cylinders to Indians and they already have good market in Africa too,so,they should extend their research towards this aspect and bring out affordable and stylish twin cylinder 250cc bikes......
Do not know why Indian manufacturers do not listen to their customers.....
