Seaside Ca. When I was younger, I had some of my bikes stolen in the past. It’s really a bummer when steals it. I’m glad you got it back this summer. I’m going to make a conquer soon as soon as some money comes in and I wanna start something I’d like to build one. I’m really glad you got it back. Nice video and nice job.
Bought a Raleigh Technium mountain bike new back in ‘86 .. $ 425 bucks @ Drexel Hill cyclery in suburban Pa…. I was a stoner trail rider and enjoyed it ! ( still do ;) Made in 🇺🇸.. bonded aluminum frame.. great machine.. Still got it .. Now it’s a clunker with Bmx bars and an upright stem … No more Leaning… Cause I’m old 😂 … That’s a helluva Machine ya got there … cool that it came back to Ya ✊🏼🍻
I am angry on your behalf to hear this bike was stolen. But I'm very glad you got it back. The only way to earn a klunker is to build one yourself. It's kinda like a right of passage into klunking. And what's so great is the frame type doesn't really matter. Use and old cruiser frame, an old MTB frame, a new modern frame, etc. What matters is you build it yourself.
I love the build. I bought a Belknap Blue Grass Bike to do this to. After looking at the bike though I am not sure I want to do it. I got it from an older man and his Mom bought it brand new. It is complete and everything works. It needs tires and a good cleaning and proper greasing and tune up. I may just keep looking for an old bike to make a klunker from. The bike was made by Huffy. Late 60's I think.
@@AstroVanTribe I like it because it is the first time I have seen someone build a cruiser bike into something with enough gears to make hills less hard to climb

Wow! Excellent choices. Gorgeous.
Looks great and nice to see you got it back . The spray job by the thief just makes the story of your bike that much more cool and interesting IMO.
Bar stem combo just sick ❤
Wow, rad collection of parts, nice job! Thanks for posting this up. Forgot to add so glad you got it back, too.
Dig the Story Mike! Happy to see it back home where it belongs.

Clearcoat that thing. The patina tells a story.
