Great review as always All 3 figures are great, well I think 2 are great. Jury still out on one of them.
Being a fan of the original Recondo, I'm all about the Retro version. Tiger force is great but OG Recondo is THE Recondo as far as I am concerned. Also the hat stays on both my Recondo figures without issue and as far as the wobble is concerned both are minimal at best. So I guess I lucked out.
Scarlett is absolutely amazing. Having her posed next to Snake Eyes just looks bad ass. Also the Crossbow is new it's not reuse.
As for Duke....I get him tomorrow so can't say what I think yet.

That white border is such a small thing but is such a huge part of that vintage look. So strange that HISS Cobra Commander had it, and not everything after... Hoping it appears on the next wave!
Awesome work, Moody!!!! Finally got my Scarlett yesterday!!!! Duke has been so lonely for the past two weeks!!! Now, I am a Happy Camper!!! These Retro figures are just what the Doctor ordered. This Review was very entertaining, More so than others you have done...So far!!! I look forward to more videos from you!!! My only complaint for scarlet is no pistol pouch, but the bolt holder can be used in its place since I don't use that crossbow. The M16 could have gone to Recondo for an extra pc.
Duke...🔥 but for me I'd swap backpacks with Scarlet to attach the guns.
Need more of those retro laser rifles for my other joes. Love that laser boomstick.

I bought a secondhand "regular" Classified Duke and the owner must have been a chain smoker. EVERY SINGLE TIME I even see that Duke, I can smell cigarette funk. This retro Duke is definitely A+. It literally made me buy a vintage Duke a few days ago and I never owned him as a kid.

😆 what a great and comical review Trav! Good in-depth contrast of the figures to retro also. These three were probably the strongest retro figures released to date. The modernized bucks, the overall presentations of each and the nostalgia all really lands for me. While I was fine with the modernized aesthetics of each of them already the bucks on these retro releases are the better of the two versions and variants. Head sculpt wise, I have a few of the retro Scarlett so I may have one with a BW head sculpt for a change up and the other with the one included with retro Scarlett. I like the one the came with the modernized Scarlett the most and I never tried the movie Scarlett swap but surprise the pins don’t align 😆
Now I wish they’d do a retro Cover Girl with this modernized buck also and two head sculpts that are more close to her ARAH look in the blond and in the darker hair color they went with for the daily series.
Duke, this is the better of the three classified versions undeniably. Recordó, I like the retro a bit more but he’s not radically different from TF recondo either.
I also use the knife web gear with the retro Scarlett buck just to have something from the classified series Scarlett fused with retro Scarlett. I like the knives 😆 but I’d also give her two swords if I could get that sheath to be open at the base of where the other two knives are stored. I have multiple retro Scarlett so I can use one with the backpack she comes with and the other with the knives sheath the classified version comes with.
Amazon owes me another retro Scarlett that was lost/stolen yesterday in the deliver process so I’ll keep that one boxed entirely. Same case for Duke retro.
Supposedly I’m getting Doc and Jinx on 7/3/24 via Amazon so I expect you all with channels will start to get those figs in May or by mid June through international sites that gets them before U.S. retailers. They still show 7/15 release at pulse when I checked this AM.

@@AToyKindaMood IKR, and I don’t even have any of the ones you showcased in this video. I have the infinity wars BW ones, and like three other versions that were older releases but the ones you got are the better of them I’ve seen to date.

@@AToyKindaMood they would be so lucky but I’m goooooood. If this set comes earlier 7/3 for me that will be great! If not and it comes on 7/3 that will be great! If they do I’ll likely cancel the pulse set and just get extras from amzn. Need that extra for the possible next Joe Haslab. If it ends up being the rattler then I’m in. If it ends up being the MOBAT or some other sea or tank vehicle that doesn’t include either the blond cover girl or steeler then I’ll be skipping this years Joe haslab
and save it for what I’m assuming would be the rattler the following year then.
Recondo: I totally agree with 'bland'.
Scarlett: the slant in the eyes throws me off, but she looks great regardless. The super gummy crossbow was frustrating and her boots caused me issues with posing. I'll never use her pack and that pistol with no home can go to other Joes. Overall very happy.
Duke #1. Period. I didnt have a Duke because the old ones are just lacking. But this retro Duke is a centerpiece of my Joes. A-mazing.

Hasbro is killing it with the Retro figures. Duke is awesome. Do you think they will give us a Retro Flint?
They absolutely should! I think it all comes down to tooling cost.. what can they use or future proof? Scarlett is Glenda and Duke is Starduster & Nightforce Shockwave... so when they figure out which buck they'll use for Retro Flint, it'll be in the works.
I’d go Retro Duke 1st, Scarlett 2nd and then Recondo. I even like the Retro Recondo but the other two are almost perfect imo. I took the TF Recondo black hat and use it on the Retro Recondo, I like it better than the one that came with him.

Give Flint the retro awesome treatment. Make it an amalgam of Sunbow and comics. Flint is very much a tribute to The Duke. So I’m hoping they treat ole Dashiell Fairborne with a dash of what they have this Duke. Classified is giving us the toys we thought we had as kids, special toys loaded with personality in their detail. O-rings are great. So is Classified.
I totally agree! I'm far more a Flint guy, so a mesh of the 3 mediums of Joe would be perfect for Flint as much as it with this Duke! Thanks for watching.

I think if we would have gotten OG colors first, the TF stuff wouldn't have sold as well, where we got the TF to fill the spots until OGs came out, everyone picked them up
Oh 💯%! It was a smart business decision. I'm just not saying the community didn't seem as excited to get Bazooka, Outback and Recondo the 2nd time around... despite their faithful OG looks .
I just don't understand how lots of this stuff escape the factory's. Marvel legends figures head sculpts and paints are like 1,000 but when it comes to the joes like your Recondo he is missing paint on the hair behind the ears and also the torse being loose. IDK

Tge hats us weird on the retro ine it will bit fit properly,i have 4 of them and they do the same for the hats,the tiger force recondo hat snaps an firs nice ,and Tig force not a wiggle at all,the retro on i glue his top part of tummy crunch but the other one that is open is perfect,,i feel its just the q.c.and the production line

I also had him, but I built a Cobra fighting arena as the MASS story... so I had to have the closest version to fit

and yeah, he looks amazing on the fighting stage,
