Seems like a lot of the cringe is just from awkward as hell teenagers, the furry fandom to them is just another fandom identity to cling to while being hormonal and awkward as any teen is. I wanted to interview furries at one point for a psychology project. But how important is the animal part of being a furry to most of the community? What is the appeal?
