    Wow. An entire 7 minute video comparing two guitar amps, and you didn't even play either one?? Demonstrating the points you were making would help alot.

    Do you know if the wireless on the guitar side will fit into a top mounted jack that's on an angle? I'd had issues with wireless adapters that won't fit fully if they are not going in at 90 degrees.

      I am not sure on that one, do you mean on something like a jazz master? I would say it would fit with ease but cannot confirm as I just used it on a Tele and Strat so far.

    Ive got the THR 10 c and I love it. When you learn how to use it , it’s awesome, and it’s fantastic with pedals. On occasion I’ll mic’ it through my Valve Junior and have a ball!

      Steven, how exactly are you using pedals with the THR? I want to use the Boss RC5 with the Yamaha THR30 ii A (Acoustic version). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

      @@michaelsweeney2763 I just select an amp model, turn off all effects and use my pedals in-line exactly as I would a normal amp. Then if I choose to mess about with the THR’s effects I’ll play about with them as well.

      @@SLB4523 Thanks, if I understand correctly: go from the guitar to the Boss RC-5, then into the guitar input on the amp, and that’s it, looper effects coming in front of the amp? ....a few other things I read said to take one cable from the THR line out into the Boss RC-5, then come line out of the RC-5 into the AUX (1/8”) plug, then turn the guitar’s volume all the way down, and the master volume (that controls the volume of the AUX feed up to the master level that you want to hear from the amp.) That way the amp processes the signal, then the RC-5 processes it’s signal last, before going back to the amp, which then only plays the final combined signal through the speakers, with the only audible sound coming from the AUX in feed, with the line out and AUX operationally becoming the effects loop. Do you think that would work better, or the same? I don’t get my Yamaha THR30 ii A (Acoustic version) until Tuesday, but I already bought the Boss RC-5 looper pedal (with drum machine in it also). I hope it works or I might have to switch gears and reconsider... Let me know if you’ve ever tried it that way, and what you think about it? Or would it work bringing the line out from the RC-5 back into the THR through the clean microphone input that the Acoustic version has (which only has a separate reverb effect, which probably should be left at zero?). ...unless, of course you needed that for an actual microphone, if you were using one.

    • @SLB4523
      @SLB4523 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s probably different for you as there’s no line out as such on the 10c. So I’m just going through the guitar out-effect- amp route.

    • @michaelsweeney2763
      @michaelsweeney2763 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SLB4523 Ohh wow, I didn’t realize that the THR 10 c doesn’t have the 2 line outs! The THR30 ii A (Acoustic version) also has the 2nd input for a mic (XLR), which might be able to be utilized somehow, but I haven’t seen anything on how that could work with the looper, because almost everyone has the regular THR models for primarily electric guitars (effects). The THR30 ii A (Acoustic version) is more recent (2 years ago) and has a jack for guitar that works with the Line 6 T10ii wireless (or cable) and the 2nd jack that accepts both types (standard plug or phantom powered XLR mic type). The acoustic version has primarily “microphone models” and reverb, chorus, delay, and compression, as the supported internal effects. I have had all acoustic guitars only for years, and recently added 2 Taylor acoustic/electric guitars, and thought adding the Boss RC-5 (with the looper and drum kits) to the THR30 ii A, would cover most everything I would like to do. Thank You! ...for your response, and the information. Have a great day, Steven!

    I was wandering wich amp to buy and take out to make a few bucks with, it seems like the thr it's the obious choice, cause I've seen people played it outside on TH-cam. I don't know if i should buy the Nux mighty air or save Money for a couple of months to get the THR II wireless. Thanks for the info and greetings from Chile!

    • @divineproductreviews3481
      @divineproductreviews3481  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Nux Mighty Air will not be loud enough for outside use at medium level volume and the bass response will suffer. I would recommend the THR in that scenario, though the Nux Mighty Air is better in many other ways apart from that. There is also options like a Nux MG-300 and a PA speaker, which is better than both options!

    • @yummmniko
      @yummmniko 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@divineproductreviews3481 I was considering that option (mg300 + pa speaker). Do you think instead of a giant pa speaker a modern Bluetooth speaker with aux in like a jbl charge would work and give good results? They are supposed to have 20-30 watts which should be enough for outside use? Haven't really been able to find answers to this so I'm curious to hear your opinion. Thanks in advance!

    • @divineproductreviews3481
      @divineproductreviews3481  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@yummmniko Hi, that is a great question. I would work fantastic with a bluetooth speaker as opposed to a PA. A JBL Charge would be okay for a small bedroom but much more than that. I would recommend a bigger speaker like a WKING X10, Soundcore Motion+, and bigger to get enough bass response. They will be 4-7lb so still lighter than your average PA, sound is very good (some even rival studio monitors).

    The Mighty Air has two 2” speakers AND a passive subwoofer (small but a subwoofer nonetheless).

    • @divineproductreviews3481
      @divineproductreviews3481  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sure does. It does start to rattle though once you push it (not that the intention for that amp was meant to be played at those higher volumes, anyhow). I found the Positive Grid Spark Mini to be far better in sound quality as it is now out.

      Agree, apart from the bass response. I definitely enjoy the Mighty Air more than the Yamaha. I forgot to mention the Mighty Air has much more FX as well, and a lot easier to get great sounds out of. Both are excellent choices though and go head-2-head.

    I just saw a comment on another video, one was wondering for how many future adroid/ios versions, these amp programs will function.

    • @divineproductreviews3481
      @divineproductreviews3481  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Judging by the previous amp devices that use BT, they can still support older versions of iOS and Android even after 8 years so it shouldn't be a factor in your buying decision. However using an app can be cumbersome for many, and there will always be issues with bugs and what not ( such as the THR app crashes every time it connects to a Mac), which is something to definitely consider in your purchase.

    • @Pharesm
      @Pharesm 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its a valid concern - especially if you don't change gear all that often (which of course the corporations would prefer you did that constantly).
      I have stopped allowing phone updates. I think all the security whining is a ploy to get us to let our devices be changed without disclosure what they're installing! My Note 9 was working the way I wanted, until I stupidly allowed the very first update, upon which it prevented me from using finger print unlock after reboot. What idiotic shit! Typing your password or drawing your little pattern with other people around is super unsafe compared to a fingerprint. Anyone could observe you typing your password, not least the plethora of security cameras everywhere.
