Great video as usual. I know you mention the gear that you use and have done one on the net but could you make a video about all your favorite gear including apparel? Thank you for the great content.
Hello my friend I'm new to your fishing TH-cam channel happy fishing 🎣 Tuesday loving that spinning combo 🎣👍 my dream is to someday have a daiwa salamander bait caster combo 🎣👍 I also love saltwater fishing 🎣 pier fishing nice calico bass
@@tallcan5112Thanks for sharing. 30 inch striped baas is a powerful fish. I do have the Shimano Genos s90mh/r 8-48g Wild Contact that I use in bouncier seas with 25 to 35 gram lures and it get the job done beautifully with biger fish on like 30inch or so. However, I have been lossing a lot of smaller sea bass on it like 3 or 4lb. I am sure it's my fault but I bought the Daiwa Labrax AGS 9'3ML and it made big difference for me. I don't know how it will cope with over 30 inch sea bass because the biggest I caught on it so far was 21inch and the rod felt very good. I was thinking of getting a better rod like the branzino or infinity in ML for sometime now since I am a bit of unreasonable tackle tart. For surf lure fishing for striped bass I seen on YT people using the Shimano Nessa. There are quite few choices in that series that cost from £200+ to £500+. A bit heavier rod, 170 or 180 grams. If you prefer lighter rods but powerful then the Genos MH or M are great, Can't really advise on Daiwa as I am new to the brand but I like the Labrax mentioned early.
Helo I have a question for you about Daiwa Morethan Branzino rods for catching predatory fish like Labrax or Zander and big Perch, with soft silicone lures on jig heads. I use 7-15 gr jig heads (usually 7-10 gr). Silicone lures in size 3-4 inches (7-11 cm). I fish mainly from the fall, jigging most often on lakes or reservoirs or rivers with weak water flow, at depths from 1 m to 7 m. I don't know which rod to choose. Is the Daiwa Morethan Branziono Ex AGS 87 LML c.w. 5-30 gr or a little stronger 87 ML c.w. 7-35 gr ? Which rod do you think will be better for delicate zander fishing with 7-10 gr jig heads? I am already fishing with Daiwa Tournament AGS Jiggerspin c.w. 7-28 gr. I am looking for a slightly more delicate rod with a more sensitive tip to be able to see the lure sinking to the bottom when the wind blows. From what year is the latest Morethan Branzino AGS Ex model? From 2021 or from 2022? Are there big differences between the older and the newest version? I don't know if the Morethan AGS Expert model will not be better for my fishing technique? Isn't this series more sensitive, more dedicated to jigging, more delicate fishing? I want a rod with SVF Compile-X and AGS guides. I wanted to ask someone from the Daiwa team but I don't have a contact. Maybe you know someone, a person testing rods from Daiwa?
I am waiting for your answer and advice what to choose? Thank you very much. With best regards Marcin email: m.surman@vp.pl
Waki-san 🫡 . Question, do you pay attention to the times for high tide and low tide when jetty fishing ? How much does it matter? I want to try Marina Del Rey jetties more but didn’t have luck the last time I’m new to salt
Todays high tide for this evening shows up at 1045 pm and the major feeding cycle showed up at 1034pm so you can see they are almost exact! Doesn’t always happen that way
