Will the sub power on without being hooked up to the speakers on the doors or back speakers. I ran my power wires to see if the sub would light up but I didn’t. So do the rca’s or speakers have to be connected for it to power on?
Nice! If you want a smaller subwoofer that actually pushes good, go for skar next time :P They're kinda cheap now.. Also don't run your RCAs together with other cables! It makes some weird sounds but i could be wrong 😅
This is a horrible product. First of all I was a professional audio installer for a couple of years and I’ve heard hundreds of subwoofers. This product was extremely underwhelming for the price. The crossover frequency filter is terrible you can set it at 50hz and you will still have very annoying vocal noises and way too high pitched bass come from it. Doesn’t hit lows or highs worth a damn. You’re better off buying a 30 dollar Chinese sub and a 100 dollar Chinese amp with the cheapest box possible on the internet. Also it does not give the option to run low level inputs making installation longer just for you to want to rip it all out the next day. Just terrible and I’ve always liked kicker products. My girlfriends 6.5 factory free air sub is so much better it is sad.
Honestly I'm ok with it, I just wanted something little that I can take out if need be. I wish it was more powerful but again I'm not really complaining about it. I don't have a clue when it comes to anything car audio wise so this kind of made it easier for me. Maybe next time I'll just build something tho!
where and how do you put your power wire in i did mine to my battery and the sub does not power on
Mines directly on the cars positive terminal
Mine doesn’t power on either. It’s connected directly to my positive car battery terminal.
I think you have to hook up the turn on wire behind the radio also so when you turn it on it on and when turn car off it's off
Nice little upgrade for a daily. Great video broski
Would ya look at that!
Good install man 👊🏼
Any install takes time and frustration no matter how experienced you are
Glad you enjoy it 👊🏼
It's always a learning experience

I would check your ground. Mine turned on without any speaker inputs
nice install, i got a blue fit same gen. mean car
trouble hearing the bass difference through a video on phone😂
It's definitely a bigger difference in person. Camera's really don't do it justice
Bruh you showed everything but the part where you put the power cable through the firewall...
Thought I explained it enough. There is only one spot that's on the passenger side that fishes through the glove compartment
"10" nice and small" 😲
I actually think it's overkill completely. Wanted a 3 inch that's plenty big
Clean
Thank you thank you 🙏

I haven't had any sound issues but this is also my first sub so I don't notice them 😂
He's not using RCA cables.

I'm curious what would you recommend?
@@gsgcarreviews if you have a small box like this the Polk mm subwoofers good
You have zero clue what you're talking about but that's okay 😂
