Hi, thank you for making polish learning look easy. i have a question. i noticed you translated " duze dziecko" as "a big child" But in one of your lessons, another tutor said "Welkie" means "big/huge" ... so can I say "Welkie dziecko"?
You mentioned y should be pronounced as in i as in the English word "ill" or "into". I am writing just to notify you that I have heard y pronounced by Polish people sometimes more like "er" as in the English hesitation filler word "er" or sometimes as e as in the English word "egg".
7 of 10 & very helpful. The lesson was short & easy to comprehend. The quiz at the end was bardzo pomocne! Dziękuję.
Dziękuję :)
Good
Thanks, let us know which sounds are difficult for you to pronounce in Polish

'wielkie' may not be the best word in an expression 'wielkie dziecko' as it means 'very big' or even 'huge' or 'great'

It is probably somewhere in between...
