Love how when you immediately cross into Florida, it’s like BAM! Palm trees!
Epic my favorite drive in hyper lapse *puts it on 2X*
Still 45 minutes...

That’s what I do too
Yes
And the music starts getting epic
Haha I followed google map AGAIN to see all the twists and turns and watched the video beginning to end. This is the greatest series of videos on TH-cam.
Thank you!
I like some of your videos but this was way way too fast. The video has to be slow down, so people can enjoy the scenery. 32 times faster, is ridiculous. Way too fast maybe twice@@unclecoolie
@@jasontomica8938 I have this entire trip in real time, 4x and 32x, just because I've had requests for faster time lapse as well as for real time.
The hyperlapse versions are my favorites
This is my personal favorite out of every vid on this channel ngl, I like the transitioning from semi arctic to tropical in 1 hour and a half
I’m glad you like it.
I accidentally sped it up to 2X and immediately passed out. When I came to, you were somewhere in New Jersey.
Thanks so much! : ) Each time you post a video on your channel, I would gladly view it from beginning to end. It's always so great to be on the move with you.
Thank you!
Wow there are so many trees in this world.
Watching with 2x speed looks so awesome

All the places he stopped during this trip
I enjoyed this ride, also the last track, Emmit Fenn - Vampire, is my favourite song here.
I absolutely LOVED St Johns, Newfoundland when I visited there back in the 90s! Every person I met there went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. A few even invited me back to their house for dinner!
I agree. I talked with several people who were all too happy to give me information about their towns and history. I'd like to return one day, and drive up to St. Anthony, which is where I originally considered going before realizing that flying in and out of there would be difficult.

Wonderful New york highways
Matched only by DC's roads.
You went through my neck of the woods, West Palm Beach, FL. Did good timing to. Sucks once I-95 ends to US-1, stop and go, stop and go for what seems endless. Then the Keys is nothing but 1 lane and always stuck behind a slow poke.
I understand that. That's one of the reasons why I've only been to Key West a few times even though I used to live in Miami many years ago.
I would love to see this in real time. So cool
The links to the real time are in this video's description. I just have one more segment--North Sydney, NS to Bangor, ME--that I still have to upload, and I will be uploading that video in the next 2 weeks.

Thanks for the upload! Any updates on what your next adventure will be?
I'm working on the rest of the real time east coast videos, starting with my drive across Newfoundland, which I should have uploaded in the next week or so.

new to this channel, cool stuff, are these road trips for work or leisure? and if for work - what do you do for living?
Hello. These are mostly for pleasure. Sometimes I get to combine both business and pleasure, such as the road trips that I've done this year. I'm an electrical engineer by trade.
33.30 The music fits well while youre driving through the trees
😊☺🤗 beautiful
Thank you! 😊
I live in Aroostook County, Maine. Have you been through the Madawaska or Fort Kent Crossing?
No, I haven't. That border crossing is the only time that I've been north of Portland in Maine.
I like the NL terrain.
Awesome
Thanks!
@@unclecoolie You're very Welcome
Hi, one nice thing, if I wouldn't know better, I would have thought you were in The Netherlands and not in Newfoundland.
This video basically documents I-95 Full Length (Except the Philadelphia area)
Looking back, I wish that I'd stayed on I-95 so that I could say that i drove the entirety of it.
Nice Video
Thanks!
Guess I'm in the minority, but these high speed videos make me car sick. For real. I love the regular time ones where I put them on my TV and just ride along with you. I skip these, but I do enjoy the travel videos and hate to miss out.
I'm discovering that many prefer the real-time versions better, but I get requests for these hyper-lapse versions, too.
I live in Canada but I don’t live Newfoundland and Labrador I live in Quebec sometimes I go Plattsburgh New York sate
Oh, cool!

All the cars rented on a road trip:
2017 Chevrolet Impala
2018 Kia Sorento
2018 Volvo XC60
What size memory card are you using in the Garmin VIRB?
For this road trip, I used a 256 GB micro SD card. But starting with my southwest road trip from October 2019, I've been using a 512 GB micro SD card.
32 - speed makes me feel kind of sea-sick
How do you create these 32x speed videos? By using only every 32nd frame?
I first speed up the video (say 8x) in Virb when I export the video displaying the GPS information. Then, I speed that video up another 4x (4 x 8 = 32) while I'm editing using Final Cut Pro.
Lard tundrin'! 🙂
Are you doing a hyperlapse for the west coast trip
I thought about it, but I don't think it would work well for a road trip that was mostly done on windy 2-lane roads.
u gonna do the same thing to your Herndon to St Johns trip?
I might eventually, but I want to get the real time versions of that trip and the rest of the east coast trip uploaded first.
Legends put this in 2x
I love how this dude stops at McDonald's in Nova Scotia and doesn't edit it out
It's hyper-lapse. I edited it out in the slower versions.
Did you delete the 1st part (Newfoundland and Labrador) IN REAL TIME? I am not able to find it.
No. I plan to upload that in real time as my next video, probably in the next week or two.
@@unclecoolie ok, thanks.
good you still work i hope real time road trip is soon
yes
a real-time trip from Virginia to St. Johns and the Canadian part of the east coast trip
Yes, I got busy lately. But I will upload the rest of this video in real time, starting with the Newfoundland drive in the next week or two.
Almost 670km on one tank of fuel in Newfoundland and Labrador. Well done
Thanks. Actually, I had more than a quarter of a tank of gas left, but I didn't want to push it too far given how desolate NL is.
If you sped it up 2x it looks like stop motion
You should reach out to whichever car brand you drive and have them sponsor you.
I might do that.
52:35 Rain in blue sky? I don't know what's happening.
That's more common than you might think. A lot of that was just moisture from the downpour that happened only minutes earlier.
54:50 already mentioned this but I live in that city
👍
Is Hyperlapse about the speed of a movie
Why did u take US 1 and not the turnpike from Miami to the Keys?
US-1 is the only highway that goes to the Keys.
@@unclecoolie u can take I 95 to the turnpike then the turnpike to us 1 at Florida city. U caught a ton of traffic lights taking us 1 all the way from Miami. Was driving me crazy 🤣
@@miamiwax5504 The traffic that day wasn't too bad.
What dashcam are u using?
The Garmin Virb Ultra 30.
i don't mean anything bad but the drive looks hilarious at 2x speed
Do you ever drive through Oklahoma?
Not yet, but I might when I do a road trip to Texas.
@@unclecoolie ok , I recommend driving through downtown okc and looking at the Devon tower or just downtown in general , it’s really beautiful
can you go to tyler tx to fargo nd plz
I want to do a similar trip like that one day.
How faster you drive-yes
Bet you’re permanently avoiding the cross Bronx like the plague after that experience 😂
It sucks driving through there, but the last time I drove through there a couple of months ago, it wasn't that bad actually. But I drove through there on the Monday before Independence Day.
Wow how'd you not get caught going around 2,000 miles per hour??!!!
No cop car can drive that fast. 😊
