God gives some people exceptional talent, but it's very rare to have, along with that talent, great emotional depth, energy, creativity, and, if I can say it - beauty. But with all that, I know it still had to take a lot of work to get where you are today, although you seem to really love what you are doing. @@Pr0vi Sure. (I appreciate very old forms of jazz too, as well as hard bop, latin, fusion and what have you.) But I know some talented musicians in classical music that does not really understand many of the expressions used in jazz. People are different.
