    Nice content! Few years back i was assistant to a wealthy pen artist and within the short period i worked with him i observed that he had quite a chunk of investment everywhere, stocks, crypto, dividend investing to name a few, so he had revenues coming in from all angles. And in a year his worth doubled. With this i learned that the rich stay rich by investing.

      i agree with this but the problem now is getting to make the right investments, Lots of people tend to lose their money while investing thereby making them lose interest and also end up discouraging other individuals around them.

      @@isabellef.1177 I think the major challenges investors face may range from controlling impulsiveness to the frail of compulsion. Most newbies and would-be investors often undermine and most often neglect the importance of technical analysis with regards to investing. Technical analysis overly predicts the movement of asset prices regardless of what is happening in the wider or broader market. Essentially, the process involves studying the paths of a particular asset movement in the past so as to establish a sustainable pattern that can be used to predict future movements or better still get an investment advisor who'd guide you and help you manage your portfolio just like my boss back then, He was working with an IA Edmund John Brock and i would bet he still does. I can boldly recommend him because i've witnessed his performance first hand. He's the real deal.

    I am so busy at work that I usually skip lunch. My work pays for our food. I normally take home the food from work and we eat it throughout the week. It saves my family thousands of dollars. When my wife was in college I ate all of my meals at work. I also worked as much overtime as I could. We were able to live on one income. I paid her tuition, housing, food and expenses off in cash. We still live a frugal lifestyle.

I invested around that exact amount almost 2 years ago in TESLA! I kept adding more but now I have 209 shares of tesla. Bought a cheap dental tool kit online & use it once or twice a week to remove any stubborn plague which really saved on the unexpected dental consultations in the past which add up to few hundreds a year. Have been maintaining ever since & very happy with the results so far...
    Watched your video & got a cheap wireless trimmer to cut my own hair as well although took close to an hour as I'm not experience yet & still practicing whenever hair grows long. Really covered up the cost of the trimmer after a few cuts & saved the time to queue at the barber while getting a cleaner tidy cut with own expectation

    Right on as always! I've been cutting my own hair for 25 years, don't have any spending habits with drinking, smoking etc...which alone adds up to huge savings over the years. No focus on material things to make me happy. My focus is on my family and doing right by and for them. My only hobby cost me $20/year. To anyone under the age of 25....if you start changing these small habits he's talking about you will be so much better off mentally and financially later on in life. Best of luck to everyone! Bought a Xiaomi water flosser earlier this year and it definitely beats having to buy wire floss over and over again. The one tip I won’t be following from this video is cutting my own hair, and that’s only because I enjoy my barber’s company far too much 😅. At the end of the day, we all have to decide for ourselves whether each convenience and service in life we choose to pay for is really worth the price. Thank you for the advice and stay safe.

    I don’t drink coffee or energy drinks. I cook 99% of the time instead of going out. I eat clean foods and consist of 60% protein and 30% fats and 10% carbs. Because of my lack of eating chips and carbs, my insulin sensitivity is great and my Ghrelin (hunger hormone) levels never go up.
    I am a paramedic and I see the oldest 35 year olds who never took care of themselves and have the worst health but I also see the youngest 90 year olds who have no health problems and are sharp and in great physical health. You can’t buy health. Exercise as much as you can. Brain games are bullshit and have no science. Exercise is the only thing that keeps mental acuity from rapidly declining.

    I've quit eating sugary food (chocolate, ice cream, candy etc) and cutting out chips for almost 8 years. My philosophy of healthy diet is simple, less is more. Choose fruits over artificial sweet, meat over sausage. The key is to stick to unprocessed food as much as possible, because most of times it's not the food itself is bad, it's how you make it makes worse. I appreciate you Ken for your work and your aspiration of wanting to make a positive impact on people's life by sharing your knowledge in investment. Tips for musicians: Early in life, when I had some earnings, I wanted to buy musical instruments and studio equipment, but mostly synths. There was so much money to be saved by buying used gear, that I took this path most of the time. In time, when I wanted to sell, I could usually sell back to more or less the same price I bought it and often making a profit out of it. I was doing this as a hobby, but in retrospect, it gave me some investment experiences.

    When I grocery shop, I do my shopping in the early morning when the local market has all of their meat marked way down to clear space for the new meat. Choosing my protein selection this way adds a bit of variety to my meal prepping which I do every Sunday to save money and time during the week. Based on the discounted protein choice I am able to find, I base my week's meal planning around that.
    Also, your local grocery store should have a discounted section in one of the main aisles! This is a great option to check as well. I'll often find pastas, granola bars, cereal, snacks, canned goods, etc. that I are usually marked 50% off.

Keeps me extremely full without a energy crash, like better than a traditional meal, and is fairly healthy. Were talking less than 30 cents per meal, and it only takes 2 minutes to make.
    For dinner, whatever the heck I want with no exceptions. Even like 2-3 meals at once. Ice cream? Sure. Just the fat off a cut of meat? Yes. A normal portion? Sometimes. Still thin, and I don't have "thin man" genes.

      Balancing amino acids requires adding ⅟4~⅟3 leguminous, which peanuts are.
      •Milk or eggs are also balanced but denser, while cheaper than meat.
      •Cravings may signal lack of certain nutrients rather calories.
      •Eating satisfaction is also important to repletion, variety & spices can help.

    I explored Calisthenics as a sport to keep myself fit and healthy than going to the expensive gym. Compared to the past 3-5 years, I have been visiting the expensive gym to work out and their yearly membership can be having great discount but it is still really expensive at times. And TH-cam has been great in guiding me on how to progress on my Calisthenics journey too. So why not learn a skill set that you can exercise at any outdoor fitness corner conveniently and which is almost free to keep yourself fit and healthy.

    Want more money? Asset Allocation. I retired 3 yrs ago and have no income…..so I sold 1 of my cars, and also took 20% out of my retirement account. Bought Tesla stock with proceeds. More than doubled my money in 18 months. Thanks CG for teaching me to buy and hold. No donkey here anymore.

    says the guy that ordered a Tesla Roadster lol ! Thanks my friend ! My finance hack is make my own bread with the Zojirushi virtuoso bread maker (it's a special machine like no other one, not sponsored !). Oatmeal and a fruit on breakfast saves time and is super healthy. Also, biking to transport yourself (even in the winter in cold climate) is an underappreciated true life hack : fast, cheap, and one of the best exercice you can do (no shocks).

    I bought an ascis sport shoe $150, been using for close 6 years now. Also using wired headphones from apple. Costs $29. Great quality too! If you know how to take good care, it's really as good as forever item!

    Good afternoon my friend! I also practice Autophagy on a daily basis mine is 12-8 as well I’ve been doing it for a while now. My appetite has changed and no longer crave foods. It took me about 1 month to train my self. And I’ve lost 65lbs and maintained my weight. I also have leftovers for my breakfast at 12 and make a new meal at dinner time so in essence I make one meal per day! Lol
    I love you sharing your experiences we us. It is super helpful and we know we are not doing it alone! Much appreciated
    Thank you so much have a great night

    Yes, one of the benefits of intermittent fasting and skipping meals....you save cash!
    I have been cutting my own hair since I was 15, I think it's because of my OCD. I tend to try and "correct" my haircuts from a barber.
    Not only that this saves money, but it saves the hassle and time of going to a barbershop/salon.

    You have great tips in the video that I already do, including intermittent fasting and haircuts and water flossing. I'll add thrift shopping/ charity shops for great clothes or in the USA Marshalls for new clothes at sale or clearance prices, Manager specials at your local supermarkets, you will be amazed at the deals.

    I was looking at water floss too! My dentist told me that those work best if it's used within 2 hours after meals though. Once that time passes, it's best to use the regular floss. I wonder if anyone else heard about the time limit thing?

    I only buy shoes or clothes when they're at clearance and I keep them in their original boxes till I need them. Only changed 1 pair of shoes over the past 10 years! (Back when shoes could last LOL)

    1 Drive a Tesla. Charge at work. 2 Cut own hair. 3 Buy what you need, not what you want 4 Never rush into a project, the longer you wait the less projects you will do. 5 Ignore sales. 6 Buy shares, do not pay off your mortgage early. 7 Make use of your tax free allowances. 8 Use Dulux paint.

    I bought (and LOVE) the Oral Breeze shower water jet from Amazon. $17 dollars. Hooks up to your shower head. Totally adjustable water pressure. No more water all over bathroom and clothes. Have mine for 5 years so far - still working! Dentist immediately could tell a difference at check up! 🦷

    • @ChickenGeniusSingapore
      @ChickenGeniusSingapore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      does it work if there's low water pressure?

    • @jwolveee
      @jwolveee 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChickenGeniusSingapore Yes! Because it is a small hose - so it doesn't need much water pressure! 😁 (Can't thank you enough for all you've done for me CGS! 💰)
