Hürrem's secret comes in the palace like a bombshell!
Brothers falls out even more since Suleiman supports Selim. The secret room gets revealed because of Fatma's great plot. As Rüstem wrathfully asks for an explanation from Hürrem, Sümbül faces with the bitter truth. Hürrem loses Suleiman's trust. Sparrowhawk spares Nisa's life. Meanwhile, Nurbanu gives birth in Manisa. As Hürrem tries to get right with Suleiman, he makes a big surprise.
Mustafa and Bayezid gets angry because Suleiman supports Selim. While Hürrem gets worried because of Bayezid's commintment to Mustafa, the commitment between two brothers gets stronger since Bayezid asks for help from his brother. However, Rüstem has a new plan for Mustafa.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

This is absolutely disrespectfull to the real Hurrem, she didn't need a secret room to hear the council meetings, she was welcomed there, she was kinda part of Suleyman's council cuz she was so smart and respected by him
This show did insult hurrem in a lot of ways! They could have show how she was welcomed in the council and her opinion was actually asked by multiple people of the council! Suleyman discussed politics with her and asked for her advice before making decisions. She was the first sultanate of women after all!
I agree. As much as I love this show, they did not show the real attraction between Sulieman and Hurrem and never showcased her political talent. In in fact, they went in the opposite direction and showed her as selfish, constantly manipulating Sulieman, and not politically aware--except to protect her sons to ensure one of them got the throne.

If they acted the movie according to what exactly happened it won't be interesting to watch. Of course the producers and directors added some spices to make it more interesting with their trick, conniving, scheme

For some people in the harem, love was forbidden for a reason. It was tragic what happened to Hurrem with Leo, to Naso Effendi with Sadika and now to Sumbul with his woman. But the last one was the most tragic of all, because she played with the feelings a eunich never thought he would still have inside him...

Sumbul's heartache is the same as Nasuh Effendi's. Nasuh also had to kill Viktoria, a spy, back then as his punishment. He loved that girl so much.

I was able to sympathize with her because even when she was doing something I didn’t agree with it was clear she was doing it not out of enjoyment but to protect her kids. This new one looks like she barely has a pulse and the only times she smiles is when she does something evil. To me it seems they didn’t just change the actress but they ruined the character too. I keep fast forwarding through her scenes

Sumbuls acting ❤❤❤ how brilliantly he acts in emotional scenes, how can someone act so naturally with their eyes. His eyes were so distressed, full of sorrow and sadness in the scene where gehveher hatun dies. Sumbul is one of the Turkish best actors
I’ve seen many dramas, seasons and plays by different countries but this series has my heart ❤ I’ve never seen a series like this before full of beautiful actors and each actor has a different story. I literally salute those people who made this series. The most inspirational actor is sumbal agha the way he acts wow he totally moulded himself into this character 🤗😍😍🥰 Literally his eyes, his lips his every expression was mind blowing in the entire series..!!!!

OMG Sumbul and Hurrem are breaking my heart. I can't stop the tears. This one scene just reminded me that in the midst of all the cruelty in the world, a little act of kindness and compassion goes a long way. Mankind hasn't changed much. This is sadly, still performed on girls today.

I have to get frustrated by Suleyman’s ignorance of the politics going on around him regarding who’s going to succeed him. He must realise Hurrem is going to do everything in her power to protect her sons and him if Mustafa is out to usurp him. He knows the successor will kill all his brothers especially if he has heirs himself. This show treats Suleyman as a fool.
I know. And then he complains, that people go behind his back and do things according to their own agenda. Well...duh! Of course, they do!
Are they supposed to just act as his faithful little disciples, when the moment he drops dead, there will be a life or death fight for succession between them? If he wanted to avoid that, he should have worked towards the fratricide law being revoked. Or tried to steer his less suitable sons away from wanting to take that path. Maybe one of them would have liked being an explorer or army/navy general. Or just a governor with a nice palace and plenty of money in a far away province.

1. I see Gulfem opening his mouth and speak to Hurrem for the first time after 112 episodes just to say a bulls**t, I thought that she was a quite wise woman after all, since she choosed to play it quite safe when Süleyman didn't had love for her, unlike Mahidevran that after so many years is still seeking revenge ending up only hurting herself repeatedly. I think that in this serie not only Hurrem was quite smart but also the other women of the palace have been quite stupid in their choices and their way to behave and try to set traps. Mustafa is a man who tries to be right and fair but still he makes huge mistakes and doesn't act by using his mind, the marriage to Mirhunisa is an evident proof to that.
2. How unaware and innocent Huricihan is, she just kissed the hand of the woman who is responsible of the death of both her parents, I do really feel sorry for her because she doesn't really see from who she is surrounded
3. I'm still waiting for the return of the daughter of Ibrahim and Nigar, I am quite sure that it will happen

I believe Hurrem played a huge role in the death of Ibrahim because for long time she did many efforts to put wrong ideas about Ibrahim in the head of Suleyman, so at the first problems Suleyman started to think that Hurrem was right and killed his best friend. Hurrem knew that at one point it would have been either Ibrahim dies, either she dies and she played in advance. And the death of Hatice was just a consequence of the death of her husband. Yes they didn’t act wisely like Hurrem but if it wasn’t because of her they would live.

You give birth multiple times, knowing the the tradition is for fathers to kill their sons and brothers to kill one another, all in pursuit of the throne. Your very existence depends on your sons’ survival and winning the throne. Under those circumstances, I’d eavesdrop on any conversation if I thought doing so would help me protect my kids.

I feel like Rustem is so two-faced that he even suspects his own words, he's so single-mindedly focused on achieving his goals that he makes me laugh. Hurrem is dreaming to think Rustem will remain loyal to her if she loses her power his loyalty is like a candle it blows in whichever direction the wind takes him.

They’re all two-faced. Every single one of them talks of loyalty but their loyalty will only go as far as their own interests are being served at the same time. The only one I could think of of loving unconditionally was Hatice. As nutty as she was she remained loyal to Ibrahim and tried her best to avenge him until her very last breath. She even went against Suleiman and admitted it to his face. All the rest of them just keep telling him whatever he needs to hear in order to feed his ego.

This show is fiction and quite hilariously insulting to all of them especially Suleyman who is portrayed as a bit of an idiot spouting poetry and oblivious while everyone plotted around him. It’s just fun. No one is supposed to imagine it is serious history! Mustafa didn’t really fall in love with a swashbuckling pirate woman who enjoyed swordplay! She’s appears to be stronger than him and he looks quite terrified every time he kisses her😅
The writer wanted to create some interesting and prolonged stories but forgot about hurram’s dignity and position. There’s no need to make the character disrespect by this nonsense scene for hurram.
