Thank God my grandparents were willing to become foster parents to my Dad when he was toddler aged. What a beautiful start to our family!😍 Now my Dad served his country, raised 3 daughters with my Mom and has 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild! Thank God for foster parents and adoptive parents.

Love pumpkin spice muffins with cream inside! This reminds me of years ago when I went to the grocery store. I remember thinking, no one buys me flowers, so I bought my own flowers. On my walk home I saw a woman and felt in my spirit I should give her the flowers and I did. It felt awesome!

My mother was in the foster care system from 3 years old until she was 12. She had so much trauma. She told me that she was moved to many different foster parents every 6 months to get her ready to move back with her father. My poor mom needed to feel safe , secure and loved. Im thankful that she excepted Jesus as her Savior. She married my sweet Christian father that loved her with all of his heart. One of the best men of God i ever met. Amen. She is in heaven with my Dad.❤❤
So glad I came back to finish this. We are in the process of becoming foster/adoptive parents. I was becoming afraid as we are halfway through the process to be approved. This encouraged me to continue on knowing God called us to this

Oh my gosh. God told me to teach classes of 2nd-5th graders after school for 3 years. I clearly heard God say "do it" but I did NOT want to. I did, the program is now flourishing, and I'm done. God wins.
I don't think Jonah hated preaching, but he hated the Ninevites, so God sent him to the Ninevites to deal with his attitude. I would have hated the Ninevites too, so I'm not judging Jonah by any means.
I agree . Similar to people called to preach or serve now . I don’t think we hate serving God.. I think we get a push back from mortal men that can make us uncomfortable and just flat out want to tell God no. So then God has to correct our negative attitude/ complaints
