Slapping, Pulling the strings out from the fretboard and letting them go, Utilizing high gain/compression to make the amp feedback the notes without having to initiate the sound from the strings, Plucking behind the bridge (for applicable bridge systems),
@MaxineTheQueen1 yes I know what slapping is. It's just not really a method of bringing notes like most of these (i guess neither is harmonics or palm muting though)
Not seeing anyone mention trem bars, trem pedals, pitch-shifters, B-bender guitars, pull-offs, I killed a man with a socket wrench in 1983 and his body was never found, finger rolling, teeth picking, overtones, using water to bed the pitch, looping, etc.
Pushing the strings at the head or if you can on your bridge is a really great way(doesn’t work if you have nut locker. you can also get cool movement by push/pulling on the neck.
via B-Slide, but that requires you have one inside your guitar. Pressing the string behind the nut. Pushing down the whammy bar, picking, and then releasing whammy bar. Also what you defined as glissando is just sliding, which I think is the same thing as using a slide: it's just your skin instead of another material.
Play on other strings as well Thought I'd expand on this; sounds like it might not make a difference, but the thickness difference in every string causes a dulling, or a more clear tone depending on what you're switching to/between.
Keep your finger on the second note and depress the whammy bar to shift it two semitones down. Then play the note, and lift the whammy bar to the normal position. That way you get your two notes. Will sound similar to the bend example.
Bartok pizz., slap, art. harm., technically tambourine but good luck with that; playing from the nut side (slightly microtonal but so were the nat. harmonics); mallet/other percussive utility (slide was included so why not); tuning; tuning+harmonic; left-hand only/no plucking (nut side muted or not); using a loop pedal and raising the frequency of the loop slightly to percieve a difference in pitch; employing the "silent keys" technique from contemporary piano music (press down the two notes and through other methods produce the 2 pitches and let the guitar resonate with them);whammy bar (and the other stuff the top comment lists) aaand i'm sure there's a few more including all kinds of digital effects etc. I'm mainly drawing from Leo Brouwer and Roland Dyens here (classical guitar).
Whammy bar, whammy pedal, quickly tune guitar up/down etc.
Good call
Tunning head
i said it first, you can take this down
@@BobrLovroh boo hoo hoo 😭😭😭
pre nut bending and neck bending,

Kinda difficult on guitar, no?
Slapping is basically tapping in this case, no?
@marcello9476 I think he literally means to slap it like a bass
@marcello9476 no like the bass technique it sounds pretty cool on guitar too
@MaxineTheQueen1 yes I know what slapping is. It's just not really a method of bringing notes like most of these (i guess neither is harmonics or palm muting though)
neck bending (or breaking)
worth it
Ahh yes da price-y way
As someone who barely plays any guitar I thought you were talking about breaking someone’s neck😭
gibbons
@@willowtree-qd2de Haha so funny! you made my day
keeping your fretting hand still while moving the guitar
😂

yea
literally everyone in th ecomments mentioned it
This made me die laughing
Wait wut 😳
run that back turbo 😭
The E-bow reminds me of harmonica from Black Sabbath
The wizard????
@@haidenwebb6478ya
thought the same thing lol
Same lmao
Exactly what I heard.
Even though I’m playing bass, thsi still helps with understanding how to read music
Your tone sounds like a SAW SYNTH💥
pull off, dip the bar, raise the bar, behind the nut trickery, play the note and pull up on the string behind the fretted note.
This was actually a fascinating short. It's something I know, but never heard articulated.
Bro rickrolled us 9 times 😭😭
oh, did I guess right
Sounds like Ozzy’s harmonica intro to “The Wizard”
Yea just noticed it the same notes
Bros pointer finger is crying right now
The last one sounds like the beginning of The Wizard by Black Sabbath
I know right? 😂
I thought the beginning of the guitar lick in killer queen
I give it 10 stars - slap -
🫵🏻😎🎵🎶 that was the wizard from Black Sabbath
I'm just waiting for The Wizard to kick in
Bro i seriously thought bro was About to rickroll us
Harmonics with the right hand ✋🏻
You can also include different picking types
ok but the ebow is so much the wizard
Reverse bending, pinch harmonics. Vibrato. Whammy bar
Reverse bending??
Am I the only one to notice how big this guys finger is ?!?
13-15 on the string above
12-14, since he's playing on the b-string
oh true
Screaming into the pickup. Dead & Bloated type beat
😂
Pre-bend for one note, stop the bend for the next note
Tap harmonic, pull off, different strings, alternate picking, eco picking, hybrid picking, whammy pedal. Etc
With the bow of a violin
playing right before the first note and following the second in rapid succession… there’s a way to make it sound like an indian veena but I forgot how
those two notes reminds me of the witch by black sabbath
WITHOUT A PICK, WITH A CHIP, WITH A SCREW, WITH LITERALLY ANYTHING!
Tapped harmonics, artificial harmonics, pinch harmonics, audio swell, finger style, slap, tuning up 2 semitones mid note, pull offs, double stops, rack bends, thrills, b-benders, tremolo stuff, letting the note ring out
Smashing the guitar
Wow, that was truly eye-opening and inspiring. Thank you.
🤔
Hammer on and pullof. Used a lot in Indian and Tuskish music
Cha-la head cha-la
And starts the guitar solo of sultans of swings
With left hand probably no , but with right hand touch: pizzicato, stoppato, Picado, appoggiato, libero, and other 3

pressing the string from behind the nut on a low gauge or detuned string can raise it just about a full step
Play on other strings as well
Thought I'd expand on this; sounds like it might not make a difference, but the thickness difference in every string causes a dulling, or a more clear tone depending on what you're switching to/between.
Pluck, then tune up using the tuner. Also pitch effect pedal
The Ambulance siren effect would work for these two notes.
Arpeggiated
Keep your finger on the second note and depress the whammy bar to shift it two semitones down. Then play the note, and lift the whammy bar to the normal position. That way you get your two notes. Will sound similar to the bend example.
Corey feldman knows all this
The fingertip☠️
By using pitch shifter software
How many ways to play? ❌
How to blew people away. ✅
If we’re counting palm mute, we might as well count using a pick / finger picking, and using different pickup positions
Play with my mind
Hammer plus slide
Me humming to the tune of the second note.
Not only slap, but you can use a whammy pedal.
Staccato, finger picked, thumped, slapped, pinch harmonic, teeth picked, volume knob off turn to on, bowed, distortion, overtones, pinch harmonics and tuning peg turn
Using the force
Guys... Pull-offs...
It's a different techique than Hammer-ons, tho closely related
NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP
Very nice bro
Asking the neighbour to borrow you a finger
Clarence White style b Bender.
Trem bar.
Bend past the nut like Jerry Donahue.
Midi module.
Hipshot detune.
Banjo style detuner.
Double neck guitar.
Piano just left the chat.
Plucking and tuning at the same time
wear a thimble on your picking hand pinky finger and tap it on the string right in front of the bridge
bass: all these and slap ✌🏻✨️
Behind the nut bend🤘
Picking the string on the other side.
Breaking the guitar 🎸
This last way remember me when "The Wizard" by Black Sabbath starts
Bell harmonics
Playing each note normally on a different string, similar to what you did in the case of harmonics.
Using tongue to tap while in the top of Everest Mountain 💪
Pinch harmonic with the whammy baby
Record as Midi. Change first note to the next note
Strike the note, smash the guitar
Slapping a cucumber onto the fret and then tapping the next note with your tongue
She Glissando on my string until I hammer-on
push the string behind the nut
Stacatto with left hand gives more control than palm mute
Tapped harmonics
Bending at the nut
Explain me the difference between tapping and hammer on
Think of all the different ways you could use the right hand to change the two notes - muting, picking, plucking, hitting
Endless

The good old violin bow works as well.
The octave tapping and then slide up
My dumbass thinks I'm gonna get rick rolled
Pull offs, whammy bar/pedal, tune the guitar, prenut bend, neck bend, pinch harmonics
Love the pfp😂
Pressing the string behind the nut
licking the string to make it sound wetter
Hammer on from no where, tremolo
If they are in descending order, doing a pull off can be another way.
Just play the rest of the”The Wizard” 😭
Do pinch harmonics, prenut bend
I was thinking Speed King the entire time
e bow sounds like the wizard by black sabbath
AYEEEE fellow godin owner :3
A way that sounds good
Never knew sliding is called glissando 😮
me thinking of the wizard by black sabbath the whole time
